Perfect Fight Achievement! Help!

I can't seem to get this to unlock using the 2nd controller methods I've read about. Can anyone post EXACTLY how this is done using the 2nd controller and what I need to do to get this to unlock? I've tried joining with the 2nd controller right as the last boss is about to die and it doesn't unlock, I've tried joining at the beginning of the level of the last boss and killed him and it doesn't unlock, so is there a tried and trusted method that works that will allow me to unlock this achievement without actually playing the entire last level with only 7 lives? Any help from people that have successfully done this using the 2nd controller would be appreciated. Are there any specifics about this method that I may have overlooked? Thanks!!!

It may have been fixed in the patch they just put out. When I got it, I started the game with my second controller, got to just about the point the boss was going to die, then joined with my first controller (signed in as myself) and finished the fight.

Thanks for the reply, did it matter if the 1st controller profile died and used continues during the game or not? I find it tough to believe they fixed this, when they didn't fix the hard mode achievement 2nd controller glitch(s) since it supposedly works in the same way. When you say "signed in as myself" do you mean you just hit Start on the 2nd controller and killed the boss signed in as the gamertag that got the achievement? This could have been fixed, since I have yet to unlock this after probably 15 tries using various methods.

all you have to do is remove the update and do the second controll method. if you try with update it wont work. just get to the third stage of the boss right when your about to deliver the final blow get your other account in and you will get the achievement.

You have to clear your hard drive's cache. Search Google for "Xbox 360 hard drive clear cache" and you should see step-by-step instructions on how to do it. Once you've cleared it, start AHHD, ignore the update, get the perfect fight achievement, then quit to the dashboard and start the game up again to get the update.

Take note however, that this clears all title updates from your hard drive, so you will eventually have to update all your games again.

if i ignore the update the system will sign me out, so then how would i get it?

don't get the update when it says to update and unlock it offline. its simple. If you REALLy suck at the game and can't beat the boss on EASY than do that. its not very difficult on easy AND you get 7 lives for a continue

to clear your cache you go to memory press Y then X,X,LB,RB,X,X

For hard, I did use the 2 controller method, but for the other 2 difficulties, I used 1. :D
