The banned user is still in the database, just inactive. We thought that the member list ids would stay the same. Guess not. :(

if i were you monster, i would create a whole new usergroup instead of banning the user. make a Temp. ban usergroup and a perm ban and an IP ban, that way they are still in the forum and it doesnt affect this, but make it so their permissions are all not allowed, so they cant post or anything, just liek being banned.
