'k this challenege - the last one I have to do, is causing a mental health issue in my life. Despite repeated tries this one is a swine. I have even stooped so low as to mess up Brazil's players in Team Management of the Main menu - giving them the worst goalie and putting their fowards in defence and vice versa - but still this is rock.
In a word - "help" please, before my mind goes "snap"

basically:
brazil 4
sweden 2
you have ten minutes (actually about 90 seconds of game play time) to tie the match and win in extra time and or penalties. Brazil are one of the best sides in the game. There arer other challeneges that are hard - this one takes the mick.

I finally got it yesterday.
Advice : try to play with a friend in the same team. You'll take the ball more quikly... so it's a little easier... (but no easy) ;)

The two worst/hardest challenges in the game are Australia/Solomon Islands and Brazil/Sweden (58 final). I like a challenge but not when it's so hard that it makes you miserable!
Beat the last of the challenges last night. I beat all of the challenges without changing the teams apart from the above 2.
In the 58 final having scored the 2 to take it to extra time I scored a 5th and nearly a 6th, but wouldn't you know it, even with the Brazil C team they equalised in the 120th minute! Grrrr! Come penalties they saved 2 of mine and I thought I was screwed, but luckily I won... barely. Very, very stressful, and has probably taken years of my life!

Ok, beat this Sweden/Brazil challenge. I been scoring most of my goals on crosses, but I scored all of my goals on breakaways. I was deep on defense, and hit and held the X button just to clear the ball and my guy ended up in the right place for a straight on goal. happened 3 times. WHEW!!!!!!!
This game has consumed me. Hopefully I can put it to bed soon! One more to go!

That is exactly what i am going to try. I don't want to get all of them done, and be stuck so close to the finish. I'd rather, get the tough ones out of the way, then just skate to the finish.

Best advice is when your one on one lob the keeper, if you get good at it it works every time, also change your formation to a 4-2-4 and the oponents to a 3-4-3.

I haven't played this game yet but I'll be renting it soon and I've been reading through this forum. Is the Australia/Solomon Islands one the Aussie Rules challenge I've heard so much about?

I ****ing hate this challange! :x I've done all the challenges exept the last 2 World Cup finals. The last 1 won't be a problem, but Sweden vs Brazil. I have messed up their line-up, set my formation to 3-5-2 but my trough (Y) passes don't get to my strikers, there's always a ****ing defender who picks it up before me. The subtitute from Brazil is also very annoying, always when the ball goes out for the first time they subtitute a player, Edmilson. So every time you restart the match you have to wait for the subtitute. When you have scored for the first time it's almost impossible to score a second one. The Brazil players keep passing and time runs out... But it's already a miracle if I score at least once. I've tried it for 100 times I think, 5 times scored 1 goal I guess, but never the second... First Scotland the brave was almost impossible, then Assie rules and now this :? I hate this game, if I have the 500 points I will burn it I think... Oyeah, excuse my English if it's not very good, I'm Dutch

And the keeper is just to good... He stops every shot or header, so annoying. And if I lob the ball it goes over the bar...

Try doing a chip shot over the goalie from the white circle, (where the ball is placed for penalty shots) it works almost every time. If it goes over the bar, you are giving it too much power.

Me and my mate are stuck on this one, took him ages to get there and no-one we know can possibly do it, its impossible! Next time they should make them a little bit easier (maybe medium difficulty would help)

Ok, but never mind! I've done it!!! :D The last one (Bra - Fra) is also difficult, but after a couple of tries I did that too. Here is my strategy for Swe - Bra:
- Mess up the line-up from Brazil, also change the keeper (formation 3-4-3)
- My formation for Sweden was 3-5-2 and tactics on counter-attack (Don't switch any players)
After the kick-off try to steal the ball. If you have 'm, pass it to a defender. Shoot the ball with the defender as far as you can by pressing X for a second. If you are lucky the ball will end by one of your strikers. If the ball ends by the left striker (Larsson), run with him to the left side of the 16 m box. Then double tap X to the right to play the ball low to Ibrahimovic. Before Ibrahimovic gets the ball just tap B so he will shoot directly. The keeper will be too late on the right side and can't stop the ball. I scored 2 times with Larsson, so Ibrahimovic did the pass-work. In the 85' minute and in the 88' minute. Nobody scored in the extra-time, so I've done penalties with the following results:
o-o-o-o-o
o-x-o-o-
It was great to win this challange, couse for me this one was the hardest. Following Assie rules, and Scotland the brave. Just keep trying and trying, once you will get it, just like me. I won't play my FIFA game for a couple of monds I think. 8)
I'm sorry if my English is not very good, I'm Dutch. 500 points 4 me!

This was a easy scenario to be honest. 30 minutes and I had it done, Ibrahimovich is a absolute legend. :D

From the main menu, go into team management -> squads and make any changes you want. Then save. Keep in mind that you are going to have to load your saved squads each time you get out of and back into Global Challenge.
Whew, just completed Brazil vs. Sweden today. Took me a second time b\c I fubar'ed the first shootout. Doh! Sooo glad I completed it. Bring on FIFA 2007! (whispers or WE :) )

thats a pretty good idea, another tip would be to play the computer a few times on perfect, if you can beat them, the challenges will see very very easy

"Tha Merryn"'s strategy listed above works. I did what he said (formation and changing players) and I got the challenege beat in less then an hour. All my goals came with through pass chip shots. I won 5-4 before penalties.

Through balls and chip shots on the keeper work well. I was getting really angry but tried one last time and i finally got it. Changing lineups and formations work as well. Also if u get the ball on defense, lob a pass to your strikers and u may get lucky with a one-on-one with the keeper at times.
Keep trying

Brazil vs Sweden was so much easier for me then Aussie Rules. Took me probably 20 tries to beat. Just sub all there starters for slow bench players.

I finally managed to get to extra time
And then in extra time I missed two chances to score and they scored in the 120th minute. AAAARRRRGGHHH
I will not give up!
So far I find the best sweden formation for me is to just leave it as it is. I put brazil on 3-4-3 with all reserve players.
