Teamwork...oh yeah, there's a problem...

Teamwork achievement...there's a problem. I played with my girlfriend and we both got over 10K. She got the achievement I didn't and I scored much higher than she did. I played just now with a second controller. Connected as soon as the stage started. Using my profile, I killed everything in sight. My stage score was 18,480. Still, no achievement. Am I missing something. Anyone have any ideas?

you need to be the one to attach to your partner so you need to hit x and hook onto her ship. i just had to figure that out with my little brother.

I think someone has to connect to you... I could be wrong maybe you should try it. Also you have to get 10,000 in one round, just incase someone was wondered

To explain it in simpler terms, you can't be the one driving during the link up. I had tried this several times with a second controller and just attaching them to me and never got it. So I did it the other way around with a controller in each hand steering with the second player controller and shooting with the first player controller. Worked just fine that time.

Yeah, my friend got it when he was attached to me, but I didn't (I think I got higher than him that round). I was driving, though. Oh, well. I'll try again later as the attacher.
