I think that all 1000/1000 threads should be stickied. The reason for this is that when most people get 1000 in a game they want to post in the 1000/1000 sections. It would be more convenient for everyone if they were stickied.

They are kind of a spam thread. They just are there for people go to "me too", and it doesn't add much to the boards. Would be nice if you didn't encourage such mindless posting.

Yeah sure, they're SPAM in a sense but no matter what, there will always be a 1000/1000 thread in every forum. If we have a stickied one then it should take away a bunch of these threads and people who just got it, don't have to search through all the pages to get to one. But me I think there should be the same stickies in each thread with the addition of a guide or what not.

There should simply be a topic for every achievement, discussing how you get it etc. Stickies should involve things such as mission help, boosting topics (which cram up the boards too much), reviews, things which are there generally to guide you in some direction of help on the game.
I think the structure to the forum just needs sorting out. There should be a row consisting of the alphabet at the top of the page, when you click on the letter you want it will link you to the list of games which begin with the letter. E.g if you wanted to find halo, you would click on h, and it would take you to a list of games beginning with the letter h and you could find halo a lot easier that way.

This would be a good idea, since a great many 1000/1000 threads are lost and reposted, adding to spam and clutter.

Some good suggestions guys, in particular I like chappers suggestion. You're meaning along the lines of how the Achievements are listed up on the bar up top, yeah?
As far as the 1000/1000, I kind of agree with DrGamez tbqh. They're nice n' all but a bit 'spammy' imho. I think there's always a danger of sticking too many threads and having the more important ones (ie. guides and such) getting lost in the shuffle.
My experience has taught me that too many stickied threads tend to go unnoticed and unread over time.
chappers, please remind me after Christmas (next month) about this thread and I'll at least forward it to the Monsters for consideration. :)

I feel that the 1000/1000 threads are important to this site. Lots of people want to be able to post somewhere saying that that achieved 1000GS in a games. Stickying these threads would be nice. You may consider them spam but if you sticky 1 in every gaming forum then it would reduce the spam of people making extra 1000/1000 topics. Just an opinion.

1000/1000 threads are ALWAYS going to pop up. No one is going to stop them. So, it'd be better if it was just one Official 1000/1000 thread instead of having fifty saying it.
So, a sticky would be good, in my opinion.

Well, here's a doggy treat anyways:
I've started sticking the 200/200 Club threads in the XBLA forums as that's where I'm really hanging out these days. Remember, there's 400+ forums and until the five of us came on board, there were really only 3 active moderators at the time.
Give us some time, mmkay boys? kthxbai ;)

It wouldn't hurt to have them, but I defintely agree with Chappers. Along with an achievement guide, we should as have a regular guide to just beating the game. Or maybe, combine the two. Make an achievement guide to beating the game. Would organize things a lot more. Sorry if someone said this already, but my eyes are pretty droopy right now. Just got out of bed :)
