Any word on a playable demo?

They won't release a demo for this game, I would hope so...but I don't think so. The game is scheduled to come out Nov. 13-14 and that's not that far off.

I don't really want a demo anyway. It would be nice as people just want to play it and enjoy it because they can't wait. But it would ruin the excitement of the game when you first put it in the disc tray.

My excitement for Bioshock built up over the weeks. I wasn't going to download the demo and save my excitement for the real game. I caved in though and downloaded it. I played it about 3 times and ruined most of the excitement for the real game. When I did get the real game I rushed the first tutorial stage. It would be the same for Assassins Creed and, for that reason, I hope they don't release a demo as I will probably download it and ruin the start of the game.
