What's the best way to get a high score.

I'm trying to get the "Cosmic Overloard" achievement, and I can't seem to find the best way to get my score up. I've seen people have it at level 27, yet others at like 50 something. Is there some secret to it, that I am missing?

I have gotten to like 31 & only had just over 6 million there must be some trick im not usng could somebody please help?
