How in the heck do you get an S ranking on this mission? I've played it at least five times and I get around 150,000 points with the 4 objectives being S rankings. The 2nd objective I can never get above a C. Do I have to destroy a large number of those smaller aircraft to boost my points or is there something else that can be done?

Since you already got S on the Objectives you just need to get kill about 25 to 30 UAV's before finishing off Paster-cha callit. Even with the CFA-44 and the ADMM it's difficult to down them. Soon as the battle starts make your way to the return line and switch your SP weapon to the Rail Gun. Blast away at as many as you can until you run out of ammo and hit the return line again. You could use the field runway but I've found that I get shot down 25% of the time trying to take off.

Heh, I never thought of using the railgun...I'll have to try that. I was always using the missles with the CFA-44 and downed maybe 2 of the UAV's with my payload each time I resupplied. Hopefully this strategy works better. Thanks!

Finally got it, all I did was use the ADMMs and kept going in and out of the combat zone. Since those UAV's tend to want to swarm around you when you come back into combat, I immediatly shot off a group of the ADMMs. I usually got at least 1 of them each time. This strategy might take a little time to do but it kept me from getting hit by Pasternak's ADMM's and at least one kill per group. It took me around 20 UAV's to get an A ranking in the 2nd objective which gave me an S overall.

I have found if you send Shamrock after one he will almost allways kill it.....Also keep using your Allied Support since they seem to shoot a few down each time as well.....

If you send your allies to take them down, does the score from their kills count towards your total points on the mission?

Anything your wingman or your allies destroy will add to your point total. Even if one of them happened to kill a Named Aircraft you would still unlock it for your assualt record.

Would those kills count towards the 10 named aircraft achievement?

i can't even get an S on normal...so roughly how many uav's do you need to shoot down before you get an A or S ranking in the 2nd?

I can get S in the first 4 but its the B in the secondary objective that always brings everything down to an A.

Ya, it's about 25-32 or 33 for an A rank on the second objective. I've gotten an S on Ace difficulty for this. My advice is to give Shamrock the Nosferatu with ADMM and use your Allied Attacks wisely. I've gotten to the point where I can do this with one full payload of ADMM. This will take you several tries to master it. It took me around 3 hours on Ace to get this.
