Mission 15 Back up cooling unit

Im having trouble trying to shoot the back up cooling unit its like its underneath the weapon and theres no spot to lock on to it. I even flew through the center numerous times like shamrock did but still cant seem to get a lock on it. Am I missing something. Thanks in Advance.

There should be a place near the barrel on the ground where it says "Entry". I just flew down there and through the canal killing the AA Guns as I went, there's 2 of them I think and eventually I locked onto the Cooling Unit. Takes 2 missles if I remember correctly to blow it up.

Just keep going straight at it until you get a lock on or your close enough to shoot it with your machine gun. After it's destroyed it'll open up a path behind it and you can just fly straight out.

LOL...once they tell you to do this...the game'll make a checkpoint. kill yourself, and you will be lined up PERFECTLY to enter. I know thats not the fun way of doing it...but it is the easy way.

same goes for flying into the barrel. lol
