This game is AMAZING

I have been playing this game now for about 4hrs and man this game is a start to a new world of video games.

The controls yet are hard to get used to but man the gameplay, story, and graphics are sooooo amazing. The worlds are simply gigantic and no load times I just dont even know what to say other than everyone should def pick this game up it is great.

Being able to go anywhere in the level and not be so linear is what makes the game so amazing I can climb one building and complete a level that way or do it again maybe crossing a beam and the whole story changes.

So far so good!!

I have to agree its a great Game.. I like some of the features they have added for the cut scenes and that. Game play is just awesome!

I got it early from a buddy who owns a game store. If you add me as a friend you can see I am playing it now if you dont believe me but ive been playing it for about 8 hrs now and o man its still just getting better and better

Well the fighting system if I had to pick a downfall in the game this would be it. You basically fight one person at a time but if you get to close to another enemy he will attack and you can throw a counter attack which then cuts into a cut scene and kills him which is literally awesome. Its just extremely hard to get used to but its really nice to finally not have a button masher and the best way to kill people is with combos and counter attacks.

I got a question there is a achievement that says get 85% of the cut scene glitches...I dont get what that means and I dont want to pass this up. I see like fuzzyness in cut scenes and I hit X then it usually goes to the upclose of the other person...is that how you do it? I dunno it just said press any button when there are glitches and didnt say much.

Yup thats what it is... When you are watching the cut scenes you will see this this weird stuff that comes up looks like code or matrix stuff all you do is hit any button you want while watching them and it will switch the camera view to a different angle.

I already missed some as I was trying to eat some taco bell while playing darnit :( Its actually harder than you think to get them all cause you sometimes arent paying attention and one will come up and you only have like 2 seconds to hit a button

GAME OF THE YEAR HANDS DOWN!! Halo and COD4 can **** off compared to Assassin's Creed. Game is simply amazing. Amazing story, graphics, game play is second to none, free running is so much fun its ridiculous. AND the assassinations. haha wow, hilarious, nothing like grabbing a chick off a bench throwing her into a wall, waiting for her to get up and then stabbing a blade though her heart execution style.

10/10 for sure. Seems like it will be tons of hours of game play as well. These cities are HUGE. Definitely buy the game if you don't already have it (;))

I love throwing knifing the guards from above and their like WTF? Check out the body and get knifed up to. Good times for sure.

I think you have less time than 2 seconds to press the button while watching cut scenes. I missed a lot so restarted. Now I just keep hitting RT everytime a cutscene is on.

Tell you what I really like, is flying like a bird from the High Point Locations (where you go to the end of a stick and hold RT forward and A then he lands in hay) lol. Riding and fighting on horses is cool too.

This game is the BEST for 360.

Oh and the way you climb up walls and jump over roofs is cool too.

Gets repetitive quite fast and dumb A.I. in combat. Although roof jumping is pretty amazing.

So i'm not sure anymore, obiviously i'm not just going to not buy it based on reviews hopefully i'll get to play it before hand.

If I don't get it i'll have £40 spare for other things which is always handy.

To be quite honest I can see this game being "This is the best game on the 360 seriously". Week later a different games comes along then thats the "best game ever". Same happened with Halo 3. Best game ever, now Call of Duty 4 is the best game ever. I can definitely see what will happen next "Assassin's Creed best game ever." *One week later* "Mass Effect best game ever".


I can 100% predict it'll be a strong game on the console and sell very well just probably not a must have in my eyes.

Trust me this is great AI.. not sure where you got that. That is what assassins creed is based off of being able to do things differently and your enemy's interact and change the way the game develops. Say you investigate someone then accidentally kill one wrong person your execution target and the way you have to kill him changes its amazing.

I have played Halo 3, Call of Duty 4, Mass Effect, and Assassins Creed.

I had to pick my favorite it would be assassins creed by far just for how different of a game it is and how much you can do, its just fun. Call of Duty 4 second just for the online and replayability. Mass effect is starting out slow but kinda picking up I had high hopes for it but its not living up just yet.

There's a few 7 reviews that worry me, I mean if someone is giving a game a 7 clearly they thought there were some major problems, while other reviewers might be willing to overlook them for the greater good.

I think I was right in thinking the game will probably be really good, but have a few things that hold it back from being stellar.

i have played tons of games they got 7's and sometimes even lower and they turned out good, i for one never really go by what the reviews say, sure i read them but i dont base my thoughts of a game on that alone.

yeah this game is pretty ill. i haven't had the chance to play it yet but a good friend of mine has uploaded many videos (a bit over 2 hours) onto youtube so that people can get a glimpse of the game and see how it plays before they decide it's something you want to have. there are a few minor problems you can see from the video such as interacting with people and the such but nothing more than getting used to the movements from as far as i can tell. aside from that the game looks great, the action sequences are great, the way you can move not only from building to building but the way you can walk right up to your target in plain sight, stab him with your hidden blade, and then move on? thats friggin awesome. i've watched every video my man has put out so far and can say without a doubt i can't to go pick my reserve up later tomrrow

Neither do I.

I just watched 3 video reviews, GT's, Gamespots and IGN. IGN gave it a 7 something and the flaws they listed were all warranted, it just seems that GT/Gamespot sort of let them slide due to the incredible animations and other parts of the game. But what IGN said seems to ring true. It will get boring doing the same 3 kinds of missions 9 separate times, and it really isn't as free as you think it is when you come to your missions. Sure you can do whichever ones you want in whatever order you want, but you're still doing X amount of missions that are all set up for you.

As far as the AI problems people are mentioning, IGN really showed some times when it's very true. Leaving aside the fact that enemies seem to surround you and attack one at a time (because that's really smart!), but there are many times where Altair is in 'blend' mode, shanks a guard in FRONT of another guard and the guard comes over and says 'Who is responsible for this?' while looking around. I mean, common, that is lame.

I'm still going to buy it, and I'm sure I'm going to love it. However it does seem that we might see a bit of 'love it or hate it' when it comes to opinions on the game, and it saddens me to see things like repetitive gameplay, so-so AI and confusing/convoluted storyline get in the way of something that really is groundbreaking in so many ways. The animation system alone is hands-down the most fluid and flawless I've ever seen in a game. I just wish it was all perfect, but I guess I'll just have to settle for mostly.
