did you watch the credits the full way through? i havent finished the game yet but my friend told me i MUST do that so i assume that might be the reason, a little video or somethin g after and maybe an achievement

After getting Eagle and the Apple ach (i.e. beating the last memory), go into your room, press Y for look mode, look above the bed. Wait for the credits to finish. (Not sure if necessary, actually, but i did it.)
