I'm a few hours into the game at this point. I can understand and agree when the weaker reviews mention things like repetition and poor voice acting, but overall I find myself enjoying the game to a strong degree. The deepest complaints from industry friends in particular has been the lack of multiplayer, which I don't think was a surprise for any of us. I feel immersed in the world, and don't really care about multiplayer aspects in particular. So far I'm still not sick of watching Altair shimmy up buildings and such.
I suppose I was secretly hoping for it to be more like Prince of Persia than it is.

I expected it to be more involved. More weapons, quests (variety), combos, etc.
The foundation is superb. I find it a little shallow when the vision is so grand. I would of liked to see some deeper RPG elements instead of just unlocking skills after completing an assassination. The game is good, but I wanted it to be epic.
I do hope they continue the franchise. I would love to see the evolution of this game.

I was a little disapointed, only with the lack of weapons and such :P
I love the game, It'll take ages for me to get 1000/1000 though.. oh well.
I think that if it had an element of multiplayer, such as co-op missions then it would be a 100x better :)

I personally find it to be it a great game. Now sometimes it does get frustrating like when you fight a templar. I just recently found out that it is so much easier to assassinate them.

It's okay. It's a bit repetitive. Like when your gathering the information for the assassination, or getting to a high point, saving a civilian etc. I don't know if I can be arsed trying to get all the flags, although without Xbox Live, you don't have much to do anyway.

i loved it but it got annoying sometimes and i beat it in 3 days with 800 gamerscore so it was too short but it would of been better if there was diffferent dialogue with every citizen you saved and different counter moves for every counter you do or being able to buy stuff all would of helped make the game greater but it is funn

I think it's a great game! I understand the complaints about the repetitions. I don't like having to do the same things over and over ad nauseum. However, they made such a breakthrough in graphics and animation that I don't care!
They created a living world that reacts realistically and in which I can move realistically. It's awesome! I'm a big fan of the PoP games, and of platforming in general, and this game gives me all sorts of fun stuff to do. So I'll forgive them for not giving the player enough variety in his assignments, because the next game will be that much better!
