Who do you think is going to take it this year? Boston for sure Peirce and Garnette = rape.

Boston is gonna suck by the end of the year. One of them will get a season ending injury and they'll start spiraling downwards.

But I have seriously not even a clue as to who is gonna do good this year. Just hopefully not the Spurs

I'm not much of an NBA fan, but i'm from Boston and I do love my Boston teams (with the exception of hockey, where i've been a die hard Wings fan since I was 5 years old) and i'm hoping to see the Celts stay in that W column!

Boston is a great team, but they are 3 deep, the Suns are a great team, they are 8 deep, if 1 of the big 3 go down, Boston goes down.

Itd be really awesome if the Magic won. My money is on the Spurs. Their a very experienced team and always do well in the playoffs.

I'd say the Spurs or the Suns, but you'd have to at least think Boston has a good chance to win the East. I hope Chris Paul gets healthy soon, I need him back for my fantasy b-ball league.

The Magic beat Boston, Th Magic might be the top dog in the east right now the Howard is playing.

The Magic are looking great, they have a deep team with quality bench and role players, and I think Rashad Lewis is a great fit for them. Hopefully they can get home advantage in the playoffs, get out of the first round, and then who knows what could happen.

The Cavs are complete trash this year, and it sucks. I would still like to know why they didn't make a move on Garnett, or even Ray Allen. LeBron can't do it all by himself! Larry Hughes isn't anything he was in Washington, and never will be. Drew Gooden is alright, but we should have kept Boozer. Z is getting old, but still one of our best players. "Boobie" Gibson is a god at 3's, however. They almost expect LeBron to do it all by himself. Well, the truth is, he can't. Sure, he's an amazing basketball player, and possibly the best in the NBA right now, but he can't carry an entire team. He can never be Michael Jordan, because we have no Scottie Pippen. He needs a go to guy when he can't make anything happen. And, he doesn't. If we could have picked up Garnett, or Allen, our record would be just as good as Boston's.

It would be crazy if Boozer was still a Cavalier, him and LB as a one-two punch = championship rings.

for me, i like the cavs. but the celtics are most likely gonna come out on the top by the end of the season because they have 3 dominating players. ;) that's my opinion.

Yes, this is true but, Peirce is going to miss a lot of games just like he does every year. They will win the east with the cavs behind them as the 2 seed

Cavs beat the Celtics! Aha! So much for us needing Garnett like said in my previous post.

Pheonix Suns - 8 game winning streak

Golden State Warriors 5 out of their last 6

Golden State scores 129 on the Suns to make it 6 out of 7 and to end the Suns' streak.

Golden State 6-7

6 of those losses came without Stephen Jackson or Mickael Pietrus. They lost 2 of those 6 games by 5 points or less, and another 2 by less than 8 points, and they lost to the celtics.

6-1 in their last 7

Warriors are good, better than last season, Monta Ellis is even better which is scary, and Baron Davis is healthy (knock on wood). Great team, I'm just hoping that they make a trade by the deadline for someone like Ron Artest, but a little more consistent, then, they will be the champions of the Pacific Division.

All I have to say is the Magic are kicking some ass this year. Their 13-3 and beat the celtics when they were 7-0. Dwight Howard is having a monster year, Averaging about 23ppg. and 15 rpg.

I did not think this rebounds are up that high, but i could be wrong. Cavs are my team and the way it is going right now lebron is for sure mvp. I know it is still to early so say it though,

I like the Celtics and Suns. I've been fans of both for a longtime. Please don't go questioning me about bandwagon just because they are good now. It annoys the hell out of me.

Most likely the spurs are gonna pull off another wetern conference title, and if they dont its the jazz. For the east, i'm looking for either the celtics to finish off with the best record only if they can stay healthy, raptors are gonna have a stellar season like last year and can have an opportunity to go far in the playoffs depending on their seeding come the post season.

I can't forget about the cavs, most likely lebron wants a second shot at the champoinship, and as for detroit? i think they are done, might get to the playoffs but thats about it.

And me being a Lakers fan, if they can stay healthy and PLEASE friggin put Luke Walton in the starting line-up, they have a semifinals team.
