I have noticed that if you have your weapon on sniper or rifleman and then become leader before the game starts, however you perform with the leader gun is good for sniper or rifleman. I have played a few matches where is go into the room a sniper, but become he leader of the team, so I have a different weapon. And if I can shoot 80% with that weapon then it counts for my sniper achievement.
