I'm considering about getting Gamefly, but I'm not sure its worth spending most of my allowance money on. I am 13, almost 14, which is too young to get a job, so all I can rely on is allowance for now. I'm not sure if its worth 15 or 20 or 30 bucks or whatever the price is. Can anyone who has gamefly tell me if its worth it? Thanks.

I definitely think it's worth it. The 2 game plan is about $20 a month, a retail game is about $60. You're already saving $40 a month if you buy a game at least once a month.

Wow thanks a lot. Actually, I have been buying 1 game exactly every month, so I can always trade it back in for about 30$...boy have I been wasting my money. Thanks man, I'm getting this tonight!?

P.S. How long does it take for them to send games to you, and send them back etc.?

I have the english version, but generally, when I send the game back, I get the new one 2 days later. 3 if the postal service is running bad.

Damn slow internet!

It also depends on how far you are from the depot. That will effect how long it takes.

hmm, by depot do you mean post office? I am about 15 minutes away then.

No, the Gamefly depot, where they keep the games. If it's two miles away, it'll take a shorter amount of time to get to than if it's 200 miles away.

Oh, well I have no idea if that's anywhere near me. Let's just wait and see.

What city/state do you live in?

I live in Chatsworth, CA (Right near LA) and receive the game the day after they ship it

I live near Indianapolis. I have no idea where one would be around here.

"Currently, all games ship from our Los Angeles, CA and Pittsburgh, PA facilities via US Postal Service first class mail. The US Postal service estimates shipping time to anywhere in the US to be on average 2 to 4 business days. However, shipping times may vary from member to member as well as from shipment to shipment, depending on your local postal route, delivery location, volume of mail, weather, etc. Please note, postal holidays normally cause an increase in shipping times for up to one week. GameFly notifies our members of upcoming postal holidays to allow you to plan ahead."

You'll probably get a game two days after it gets shipped. I live in Michigan, and that's how long mine take. Before, they only came from out west, but the new distribution center in Pennsylvania started right before I signed up, and everyone seems to get theirs within three or four days. It's definitely worth the $20 or so a month. I can't tell you how much money I've saved with online renting.

gamefly sucks. nothing is ever available. I switched to gamesnflix and it's actually worse. I'm just going to get blockbuster's "Game Pass." Sorry to end the streak of good feedback, but that's my own experience.

About 3 days for me. My gamefly is located in my state though so it all depends on your location.
