I was playing astroids deluxe and I had 4 lives and got nothing? I know i had 4 lives because I didnt die a single time and then i hit 10,000 and nothing came up but it showed I had 4 lives? So i continued playing thinking it will give me the achievement when i lost all my lives but still ended up with nothing!! Anyone else had problems with that one? I was playing offline but dont think that should have anything to do with it.

You have to have 4 lives "in hand"

Meaning 4 extras plus the one you are playing with...so you will need at least 20,000 points ;)

Yes, that is how I understood it also, 20k points needed. I got past 10k points several times on my first life, with no achievement. The stupid spaceships have pinpoint accuracy with their shots, its frustrating.

Thats weird because isnt asteroids the same because i scored 10,000 in asteroids and got the 4 lives on hand achievement. Asteroids Deluxe you have to score 20,000?

If you look at the pictures of the two achievements in the achievement list here on a360p, in asteroids you can see there are 4 ships in the picture and in deluxe there are 5. Maybe the wording is off, or maybe in deluxe you start with less men? I am not in front of my console to check right now but it looks like you need to get 20,000.

maybe you could call it a glitch, because it seems that you need 5 lives not 4. I'll let you know if it unlocks when I do it :)

It does indeed unlock at 5 lives - finally managed it! It does not unlock if you die at 19990 and pass the 20k by smashing into a rock. I found this out the hard way.

Is anyone ever going to get Clockstoppers or 250K? I'm not sure whether to even try for the Throttle Monkey ones, although I see some people have at least got those.

I just feel stupid for all the cursing and screaming at my tv, console, and clock for not giving me the three minute achv...then I saw I was playing the wrong version of the game! The Throttle Monkey ones do seem a bit difficult, and the clockstopper near impossible...when I checked this morning, my awesome 4k score had me in 45th place, with only the top 4 over 10k (I think the highest was 16k). Definitely a challenge.
