First of all, there are 23 trophies. Also, this is a very hard achievement since only perfect drivers, like me, can get it. But I'm going to help you as best I can. Here we go......
Step #1: Get good at the game, don't try it on Hardcore the first time you try it. You'll get left behind almost instantly. Instead, complete Solo Career Mode on any other difficult setting except Hard since when you get the Platinum Achievement, you'll also get the Gold Achievement. Learn how to use an A Class car. I like the Ferrari F50 GT since it drifts, but use your favorite car, but also, learn how to use the F50 GT, it'll help you later...
Step #2: Now we get to work. Once your good at the game, do all the race events again, but this time on Hardcore. Don't worry about the Drift, Cone, Hot Lap, Speed, Timed Run, Time Vs. Kudos, Breakthrough, and Overtake challenges. We'll work on those later. Now the race challenges aren't easy at first, but if you practice, they will be. When you're done, you should have at least 13 Platinum Trophies.
Step #3: Now the other challenges. First, start off with the Drift Challenges. If you're using the F50 GT, this will be almost easy. There are some challenges that put up a challenge. There's one where you're required to get 3200 Kudos on a Las Vegas track. Your best bet is to practice over and over again and LINK YOUR DRIFTS TOGETHER! Use the E-Brake often so that you can reach the big drift areas while you still have a combo going. The Hot Lap challenges require you to finish a track within a certain time limit. If you did what I told you to do earlier and got good at the game, you should know some of the tracks by now. If that doesn't work, then try to use a car that has a good top speed but doesn't drift, like the Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR SuperSport. Remember that THE TIME IS BASED ON HOW WELL YOUR CAR CAN PERFORM. For example, the Ferrari F50 GT is the highest performing car in the game, so in Hot Lap challenges, if you use it, you'll need to get the lowest time. However, the CLK-GTR has a longer time limit than the F50 GT, since it doesn't perform as well. Now try the Hot Lap challenges until you get them all done on Platinum. By now, you might have a few more trophies. The Speed Challenges require you to pass a checkpoint at a certain speed. Most of these are easy, but if you're having problems on a track, then switch to a lower performing car than the one you were previously were using. The Overtake Challenges require you to overtake 7 cars before time is up. The number of cars never change by difficultly. The time does, however. So use the F50 GT and you should overtake every car before time is up. These are by far the easiest Platinum medals you'll get, but if you don't do it on the first try, then try again. Make sure not to mess up since if a car passes you, your count goes down. For example, if you pass the first car, it says 1 out of 7 cars. But if that car passes you, then it'll say 0 out of 7 cars. But once you pass the seventh car, the challenge is over and the count will no longer go down. Now the Breakthrough challenges. These can be challenging because you have to pass through checkpoints before time runs out. This isn't as hard as it looks, but it isn't a walk in the park. Going through the checkpoints earns you more time, so you should use a car like the CLK-GTR since DRIFTING COSTS TIME. Keep trying until you get them all. Timed Runs aren't hard, but require practice. What I suggest you do is keep trying, cut down on drifting, and try to speed through turns as best you can without hitting the walls. Hit the walls, and you might as well start over. Time Vs. Kudos has only one tip, USE THE E-BRAKE. The time stops when you earn kudos, so use the E-Brake. Do it correctly, and you'll finish a lap without ever letting the timer count down. Don't quit on me now, you're almost there. There's just one more obstacle.....CONE CHALLENGES, THE HARDEST OF ALL.....
Step #4: These are the hardest challenges of all. The Cone Challenges require you to get 10, 20, 30, or as much as 48,000 kudos on one lap and within the time limit. Don't freak out. If I can do it, so can you. Here's what you do. DON'T EVER, LET YOUR COMBO RUN OUT! You must keep a combo going for the entire lap, going through cones and drifting to reach cones that are far away from each other. If you lose your combo, then hit pause and start over. However, on some tracks, you can use the E-Brake to go through cones, but you increase your risk of hitting the cone. Hitting a cone is like hitting a wall in the middle of a drift. Now about the cars. I suggest using a car that just won't stop drifting, like the F50 GT. But don't use the In-Car view. Use the On-Car High view. That way, you can see the cones, and no parts of the car can block your view. You might not get the medal on the 1st, 5th, or 10th try, but continue to hold combos around the track, don't hit walls or cones, and you should get it. Buy this time, you should have almost all of the trophies. Also, don't worry about the time limit. You should hardly ever run out of time. Now here's a good hint. When you first start a track, go around the track. Don't worry about getting the kudos now, just come up with a pattern for the track. Remember that patterns vary from track to track. Do this as many times as you need to. There's no rush.
Conclusion.....
Overall, this achievement took me a month to get, but at least I got it. If you want anymore help, feel free to send me a message. My gamertag is HotshotD ROC. Just follow the mini-guide I wrote for you and you should get it too......
