frontline landings

for the "complete 10 total frontline landings" achievement i assumed it just meant to complete 10 landings without skipping the video.. well i did about 12 in that one mission (turned around and went back to base 10 times to be safe, then changed secondaries twice in mission) and then finished the mission to see if it unlocked in the debriefing like some of the others do, but no luck.

does it mean, actually landing on the battlefield? i think there was only one map with an air strip that i saw but that one has that damn tricky strigon guy and his buddies firing missile after missile at you.

any help would be awesome, thanks =)

frontline landings are done while in combat...you can't actually leave the battle zone to do it.

i did mine on mission 2...if you're fast enough you can get 10 in a row (which nets you the 10 landings achievement and the 10 in a row medal) ...AC6 is pretty liberal with the landings...not like some of the previous ACs...

also, if i'm not mistaken, this is a live achievement and unlocks right after you do it and not after the mission is over. (i may be wrong though...)

Can anyone confirm this?

I think i read it had to be done on free mission and such, and i've tried it before but i always get problems landing too soon after taking off and not getting the wheels to drop. Otherwise i end up running out of time.

yah he's right, i did mine on mission 2 too. basically just do the mission for the airport, then just keep landing on the strip over and over. most of the time, unless you start a certain mission, you cant fail it. tho it does happen in bigger battles.
