for all you americans out there it is a soccer based thread,

post who you would like your team to buy in the january transfer window or at the end of the season, eg. Kaka to Manchester United,

me personally i would lik to see a young but world class striker and right-back in the Manchester United squad, like Lahm as a right-back to replace Neville and a good young striker (preferably for back-up for Rooney and Tevez) i would like to see maybe Adriano or pazzini,

try to make them as realistic as you can, thanks

For Chelsea, I'd like us to bring in 2 strikers (Nicolas Anelka and Klaas Jan Huntelaar).

Also, I would like us to try for Dani Alves again. Then, I'd like us to sign Lulinha (Corinthians) and some more younger players.

I heard Bolton declined a offer from chelsea, but I dont think chelsea will give him up that easy.

Yep, Apparently we had a £12million bid rejected early this week. However, Avram Grant has stated that he wants Anelka signed by the weekend, so he can play on Saturday against Tottenham.

Hopefully, We can come to some sort of agreement tomorrow with Bolton for Nicolas.

I still think we need to make a few more investments as we are awfully light on replacements.

I think newcastle will buy bring gerry taggart out from retirement, and win the premiership. Without a player of his quality, they are doing poor. This is because they walk through doors.

no shame in hoping for that. Man Utd is a fine club with great history.

its nice to see that fans of other clubs make comments like that about other clubs, on another note i can see Man City finishing in the top four this season, they are magnificent under Sven, and i think within 2 years they will be good challengers for the Champions League and Premiership

yeah their good and they did a great transfer in Elano I think. Top four would be very gould for a club like City, qualifying for the Champions league, but I really dont think they can challenge Man utd, Arsenal and Liverpool for the league trophy. You might notice that I didn't mention Chelsea, and that is because I think its a fake team and its going under within a few years, gotta love Terry though =)

lol, yea man city will beat liverpool to 4th place i think, liverpool are starting to slip up badly and are relying on players like gerrard and torres far to often, i agree about chelsea also :D lol

No matter who you talk to they will all think the same about chelsea =) Except for the chelsea-fans of course. Gerrard and Torres is like the spine of Liverpool, gerrard more then torres, but without these two guys they would be in the middle region of the league.

yea i know :D lol

yea they are 2 dependant on those to though, as you dont see manchester united dependant on ronaldo or rooney all the time, or man city on elano, chelsea is also the main example as they have no terry, lampard or drogba, essien, kalou, ballack and shevchenco and are still doing well because they are working as a unit, i still h8 them tho :D

 The last few posts made me laugh regarding Chelsea. I can't see them going under within a few years. The club is steady and doing really well considering the problems with injuries and now the African Nation's Cup. It's just like Man Utd used to be where they spent heavily to maintain their title winning squad, same as Chelsea, but, they used their money to build a winning squad, and that's what they have now. So how can they be a fake club? Well, obviously Man Utd fans would say so because they didn't win the league for those two years. You said that if you asked anyone that if Chelsea were a fake team, they would say yes, however, not everyone thinks like you and th champ and some actually see it as making the Premier League much better. Man Utd have spent heavily for the past decade, where Liverpool now have a bit of money so they will start spending, and Man City especially. Then, there's more of the smaller teams Portsmouth, Aston Villa who have both been taken over by foreigners and have had millions pumped into them. Doesn't this make them fake as well? Or is that different because they haven't had the success as Chelsea?

Regarding Liverpool, I still think that they will secure fourth this season ahead of Man City as Man City do not have a talented striker who can bag goals like Fernando. Liverpool have enough depth, quality and experience to grind out results unlike Man City.

Man Utd do depend on Ronaldo and Rooney, because if you watched the FA cup game where they played Villa, Ronaldo was crap until Rooney came on, then they won. Without these two players, Man Utd won't be as dominant as they are at the moment. And how come Man City don't depend on Elano? He's their main playmaker, without him there nothing.

Also, you say Liverpool are closer to winning the league than Chelsea? Ermmm...You might want to look at the League table...or is it because Chelsea are fake? mmm I duno you so called fans of football now jack ****.

Rant Over

no offense ment m8, if u look at my previous post i was actually praising chelsea for doing well without the "key" players, and you misunderstand me i dont think chelsea are a fake team, and they deserve their success especially with what has been going on over the past few months (losing players and mourinho)

i did say however that i dont like chelsea but that is normal for a person that supports a rival team, you cant say you like manchester united, liverpool or arsenal and if you say you do you would be lying

but i apologize if you thought i was coming across as harsh

Most of my post wasn't aimed at you, so don't worry mate.

You're right I don't like them, however I have to praise the way Arsenal and Man Utd play football. It's impressive to watch, I just wish Chelsea would play with such flair and creativity.

I guess most of that earlier critisiscm or however you spell was aimed at me. And what I mean about fake is the involvement from the owner, I cant base my statement on fact but its been said that the coach after mourinho (cant remember his name right now), is abramovich own little puppet, and to me, thats enough to ruin the tiny sense there is left in football with all this moneycontroling actions. Now you probiably think my post is a mess and maybe you dont understand what I am trying to say but I do :P and english isn't my native language so I have a hard time expressing myself.

thanks m8

they do play great football but chelsea are equally as good and have moments of quality which win games eg, the wigan and everton games.

Yeah. I would say that we could do an A-Z of transfers, but, there seems to be 3-5 people posting in here so it's rather useless.
