Gold Miser Information

Just to clear up any bit of confusion, this achievement is for collecting a total of 5,000,000 gold. You do not have to have all 5,000,000 in your wallet at once, just over the course of the game, collect that much.

I got it by playing through the whole game solo as an Archer, then redoing the last level once (to get Level 20 also). If you're collecting pretty much everything along the whole course of the game, you'll be able to get this one easily just by finishing the game.

Cool, i was wondering about that achievement. Ive got an archer to level 10 and ive collected about 200k so far but spend most of it on weapons and armour.

It's an easy 190/200. The only somewhat difficult one is Master Bomber, where you have to kill 100 monsters using exploding vases. The exploding vases deal only around 10-15 damage, so at the higher levels, these mean absolutely nothing. I only see myself getting it by using a soldier on the first few levels where you can train the monsters towards the vases and essentially "light a match" on them.

Aside from that, the other 190 points are relatively easy to acquire.

I'm about halfway to Master Bomber. I've been doing exactly what Magicism said using a warrior on the 1st level. It'll probably take a few more playthroughs but I'll get it soon.

Or can i just take my archer, equip with dagger and play throw first dungeon a few times?

Hehe, c'mon man. That Achievement is easy. Just replay the first level when you're strong enough to take plenty of hits. Gather the enemies in a cluster and let them set the vases off. It only took me about 4 replays of that level and I had it. Depending on the number of guys in each room, you can kill 5+ with each set of vases. :)

I actually just did that with a Soldier. :) I had the achievement within 3 replays of the first level thanks to the 1 hittable spiders that keep spawning. 5 kills per vase was an easy feat. :)

The only reason this achievement is the "harder" of them is that you're not necessarily going to get it on one play through.

I agree about the bomb achv, but the info is bad about the miser one...all you need is 500k, not 5mil. I know this because I played up tp level 9 or 10 co-op (netting half the gold), then got to 18 by the time of the last level. Once I sold everything off prior to the Gorgon dungeon, I just made it to 600k (and no achv popped), as soon as I launched the quest, it popped. There is no way I collected 5 mil, so the achv description is most likely correct, in that you just have to have 500k or more in hand.

I just hit 515,000 gold and didn't get it. But when I entered the portal for the next quest (final one against Gorgon) it unlocked.. weird.

Its not 5 mil its 500k. I sold the last item last night and got it. You kinda have to wait a little to get it. 2 seconds after I sold it (And got the money) I hit start and it popped. So you do have to have 500k on your wallet and not have 500k throughout the game. Because I spent a lot of money before I saved up 500k and Im sure at one point I had spent/had 500k.

Heh, there is no way I collected 5 million. Maybe it unlocks if you hit 5,000,000 total earned before you have 500,000 with you at once.

That would be too much of a coincidence dont you think? I mean Im not the only one that got the achievement right after I had 500k. And Im pretty sure that theres no way that I had spent 5M over the course of the game

I probably only spent 1M over the course of the game. I got ach a few seconds after i sold stuff to get 500k+ gold.

I said accumulated 5,000,000 across all games.. not spent 5,000,000..
