If you're looking to get the 'Cosmic Overlord' achievement, or are just trying to get up on the leaderboards this might help. This mostly works with Vector, but I guess you could do it with Vixx as well.
Basically what you do is get your supa weapon up as much as you can (this means just waiting whenever you can). After you have your supa weapon up try to destroy as many rows as possible, without it. Once you have as few rows as possible start blasting away with your supa weapon. Start from one side and scroll to the other, using the shoulder buttons to quickly get back to where you started. If you do this correctly you should get the board completed at least 3-4 times, maybe even 5 (getting the 'Vortex Generator' achievement as well). Each time you clear the board you will get more and more points.
Depending on where your brick bar is you might want to wait till the next level before using your supa weapon. You should be able to do this at least once every level once you start getting into the higher levels. This still requires skill, since you will be going without your supa weapon for a bit, but in my opinion it's a lot easier than going into the higher levels. I easily got 12 million by level 30 the first time I tried this.
Puzzles are another place for big points, so practice thoughs as well.
