I'm surprised there isn't a thread about this already! What do all the college football fans around here think about Rich Rodriguez as the new head coach at Michigan? Personally, I'm excited (and relieved). He really seems to be a no-nonsense coach, much like Bo was. Furthermore, I think he'll bring some fresh stuff to the offensive playbook - something that even die-hard Michigan fans have to admit was lacking under Carr. And how about the $4 million buyout? Holy crap, I thought it was bad when I heard about Les Miles' $1.5 million buyout...but $4 million! Obviously, the University thinks he's worth it...I guess we'll find out.

I'm pleased being a Michigan fan I'm sick of seeing the power offense getting stopped seeing how it's predictable. We ran some spread against Florida and that worked out good, so the Future is bright.

WV seemed to do just fine without him...anyway, I don't know why so many WV folks are up in arms about this. Yeah, it sucks when you lose a good coach, but it's not like he went to a "rival" school. Now, had he left Michigan for Ohio State or Michigan State, that'd be a different story. :D
