In the uk there was a recent offer if you recommend a friend to buy a 360 both of you get 10 free xbox arcade games

It was in Canada too? Damn. Just had every single friend get a 360 for Christmas. That would be like 60 free XBLA games :D

I remember doing this about a year ago, I don't know if it was a contest but I got robotron, frogger, and joust for free.

Seems like the U.S. is pretty definitively excluded... although if Canada is able to get in on it, I wonder if there might be a way around the restrictions.

EDIT: Bah, it seems most offers expire tomorrow anyway, if they haven't already. Oh well.

I got my 10 arcade games last week. Not many that I wanted so I gave most of them away. Just kept Marble Blast Ultra, Spyglass board games and Mini Golf something. Good stuff with free stuff :D

i heard about it but i know it wasnt a usa offer, they were trying to get xbox 360 sales up outside of the us. so since i am in the usa i dont actually know anyone who has received or even attempted that particular offer.
