i can easily get to me vs the ****pit with 0% damage taken, but then no matter what angle i come from or from which height, how many bullets i use etc i cant seem to do any damage on the ****pit.

ive tried shooting both the upper window that actually has the box around it, and the matching lower window on the other side of the "fold", and neither windows give any result. ive tried shooting around that area, the inside of the runway bit, coming in from the sides shooting at / around the missile launchers and nothing... and so i have no clue what to shoot, or which direction to come from.

im using the A-10 if that helps any..

any hints, tips, or advice would be awesome. thanks :)

Im having the same problem as Crazy boy bob. Does anyone have a clue where to hit that ****pit? Its annoying me as hell...

i was doing it in that plane for the Attacker plane medal.
I did it in the end, not sure if it was fluke or what, but i attacked it from behind, above, and off to an angle, probably between 30-60 degs. not sure why it worked but i stumbled on it as i lost hope and started trying to shoot the missile launchers just to make me feel better.. then all of a sudden the ****pit lost about half its health, so try that.

When I did this I strafed on the side of the front of the cruiser. When aiming with the machine gun I completely ignored my crosshair and had to actually watch where the bullets were going and make sure they were going right at the middle of the long window where the ****pit is at.

I seem to recall the ****pit was underneath the part which i thought it was.

Underside of the front, try that.

can anybody be more descriptive with how to do this, ive tried these methods listed below with no results. the only real result ive gotten so far is when i managed to hit it somewhere on its back and took off about a 10th of its health which i have not been able to replicate since. somebody please help

I was having trouble w/ the machinegun 2 but I managed to hit it from above and behind, I was using an A-10 also

yea i've tried at this thing at (i believe) every possible angle, ive tried everything everbody has said but i still have not been able to beat it.......... does anyone have a youtube video or something..........cause im just wondering how the hell your supposed to do this

yea well i finally got it, i did it by just going from behind it at about a 45 degree angle from the topside of it and just kept shooting directing in the center of the ****pit and did loops over and over until my bullets got their mark. and for all those still trying to do this, yea their are lots of stratedies for this thing but the only one i got to work was this one i made up, so just keep messing with it until u get it, its gonna be awhile before you'll get the hang of it to so dont get discouraged
