16-0
There you go. Anyway..the announcers keep saying they made history - no they didn't. They still have yet to win the Super Bowl like the 72 Dolphins do. They will end up going 18-1 and not be undefeated. Calling it now.

Somebody needs to talk to the Giants coaching staff about a little thing I like to call clock management. That was no doubt the worst playing calling and clock management I have ever seen. They got the ball with just under 5 minutes left and didn't score until just over a minute left. The sad thing is that I would be willing to bet that at least 2 and a half minutes were spent wasting time walking around between plays. Oh well though... can't wait for Favre and the Pack to knock New England off in the Super Bowl (fingers crossed) ;)

Yeah, but still they keep saying that they're better than the '72 Dolphins. Not quite yet. Also, take off Randy Moss and what do you have? Probably a record of 11-5.

That's like saying "Take out Player X from the '72 Dolphins and you get an 11-5 record". Why would you take Randy Moss out? He's a valid player, he was picked up to d the job he's doing and he's doing it quite well.
I do agree that they're not done yet, it's a wash and pointless if they don't with the Super Bowl. The only way to be put in the same league as those Dolphins is to win the whole thing. They probably will, but on any given sunday, anything can happen.
As for the records, they're history for sure but (and yes, there is a BUT) at least 1 of the records (the touchdown record) was done FASTER. Does that mean that Moss' record isn't important? Of course not. Different game, different time. Moss broke a record that had stood for some time and he and Pats deserve some respect. They may be boring, they may be hated, but there is a certain level of respect you have to give them.
Ignore the fact that they may run up the score, they may know how good they are and they may have a swagger about them BUT, the fact is they beat everybody that was put in front of them in the regular season. On some level, you have to respect that.

I couldn't agree more. I do not like how certain players in their organization act on and off the field, and don't like the way the organization conducts its business, but respect has to be given. Its been a LONG time since anyone has come close to establishingsuch a dynasty. What's scarier is that they have a backup to each position that is more than good enough to do the job.

That is one of the many things that makes the Pats such a dynamic and forceful team. Even in their losses. They have all that talent and are, fortunately or unfortunately, one of (if not The) deepest teams in the NFL today.

Nice grammar, by the way. People like you are the reason people hate Boston. A bunch of ****y *****es who think they are better than everyone else, when, in reality - you aren't. The Browns finished 10-6 when nobody expected them to win even 6 games. Also, they EASILY could have finished 14-2 but too many games they gave up. If you talk **** on me, so be it. I don't care if your TEAM is doing better, I bet I'm doing better at the game of LIFE - which matters more than sports. Get over yourself bub.

Although CrimeMinister was overly childish in his response, I don't think this type of reply helps much.
