I've done some searching and am still greatly confused. I'd like to make a montage, but I can't figure out how to get the clips off of Halo 3 and onto my PC. I've found This site Here (http://www.geevee.com/index.php?p=capture) that shows something, but I'd love to know what it all meant. Anybody who's tech savy on this kind of thing, please tutor me. Anyone who isn't, but would still like to help, please help me find a good tutorial on how to capture. I have a video converting program and Windows Movie Maker if that's any kind of a start.

hope this helps
you can search "video camera" on eBay, they may have some pretty cheap ones going.

Is there anyone that actually wants/knows to/how answer my question?

you need a capture card or a bridge that pretty much all I know. I think you connect the card from the tv to the comp or a dvd recorder. again I haven't used this just heard. also I was told that the site you gave lets you record with out a capture card never looked into but will and can get back to you later
