Being on the East Coast, I'm GMT-5, and have it set in my profile.
Unfortunately, topics still show up at GMT.

So, since this is the suggestion forum, I was hoping this could be addressed sometime :)

Yeah, I noticed that as well, was kinda throwin me off. I'll PM the monsters a link to this thread so they get to see it pronto (not as if they wouldn't anyway =p) And Morgon, I'm busy writing you a PM on your mygamercard.net site and I'm going to send it in a second...

Ah i didn't know this as i'm GMT anyway, thought my settings had just worked and it would more likley be set to a American time by default.

The problem should be fixed now. I was messing with the time displaying code on the board and added some code that would display any posts [that met the date requirements] as "Today" and "Yesterday". I didn't notice, but this process negated the GMT settings. Whoops. I replaced the original code and it appears as though the problem is fixed now. I might put the T and Y code back in (once I fix the error), but I think I just like the data to be shown, regardless of what day it is. I like everything to nice and clean.

Hope this helps everyone. :)

Glad to be of service.

It was my fault it happened in the first place. I normally go over all the code that makes it's way to the forum, but this code shouldn't have had problems like it did. I am kind of surprised the code author didn't take the user's GMT settings into account. Bleh. I will stick to writing my own. At least that way I will know it only does what it is supposed to. :D
