who isnt going to watch the superbowl this year?
i know i'm not, who wants to see the giants get blown out by the patriots. i wanted to see either chargers vs. packers or patriots vs. packers and the packers absolutely murder the pats. i think this is going to be a blowout, unless the giants can really get in and pressure brady.

Yep, right when I saw the Giants win I said "Looks like I'm no watching the Super Bowl". Might record it and watch the commercials, though. Green Bay would have won undoubtedly since it's Favre's last year.

ok, i know that week 17 was close, and it was to decide whether or not the pats went undefeated, but it is nothing compared to the superbowl. Tom Brady is clutch and will most likely dominate the Giants defense. Although the Giants have a good defensive line, they will have to send 5 or 6 to get to brady. When they do that, Brady starts doing those little passes to welker that move them down the field. Just look at the pats eagles game. The pats went to welker when the eagles brought the pressure, and they came out with the win. When the giants only rush 4, the pats still have a descent running back, and the three recievers, moss, stallworth, and welker. It will be just too many weapons for the giants to handle. I'm not saying that the giants don't have a chance in hell, but they have to play flawless football, and i don't see eli manning doing that.
oh, and i already have the commercials handled, i'm getting someone to tape them for me.

Nope, not gonna bother. Although i'm from Boston, I grew up watching the Packers.
Essentially, this is another Superbowl where I don't care about either team and would rather eat hot wings and drink beer watching hockey.
Of course, i'd always take hockey over football...
instead, i'll probably spend the day playing Mass Effect and looking for pr0n on the interweb tubes.

^ This guy knows where it's it. ^ The Pats making it took my thinking to watch it down a peg, then the Giants winning sealed the deal. Definatly not watching it. Who wants to see the Pats win another one, and above all.. who want to see the Giants play? They're gonna lose anyway.
Better be some good hockey on that night.
And all you guys saying "The Pats barely beat the Giants in week 17 blah blah". The Pats also BARELY beat the Eagles. That doesn't mean the Eagles are worth a ****.

I'm watching because i'm a Pats fan but if the Packers were in it would be so much better. We've already beaten the Giants and Favre vs Brady would be amazing.

I absolutely loved the Red Sox winning. I don't happen to think it was all that historical, although the improbable comeback against the Yankees was fantastic. It was just another team winning the World Series. Of course, it was my team, so I was ecstatic for that. I think it was more "historical" because they finally won after 80 plus years.
With the Pats, historical significance is such that it's a perfect season. Extremely impressive and in sports, one of the unparrelled marks. I still don't care.
