Rigging "Ranked" online multiplayer games is rediculous, I come to this site just to check out the achievments on games and every time i go to a forum all i see is a bunch of ppl who suck at games and have HUGE gamerscores. *rolls his eyes*

not to bash everyone boosting but at least give the game a well-deserved fun run where you go through it without worrying about achievements. GOD all people ever wanna do is unlock every single achievement as soon as they get the game, relax take your time and have fun with it you guys are sucking the fun out of it for yourselves with your achievement craze.

I love this site and find it very helpful for info on how to unlock my achievements. I have also writen a few guides for games to give back to the community(it's not always about taken). I will say that I have boosted on some achievements maybe about 5% of my GS and would never be ashamed to say. On saying that, I think it is pretty lame of people to start boosting threads or want to start boosting the very day a game has come out. Where is the challenge? What would be the fun in it? Why don't you just play it, enjoy it and if you can't get a few of the achievement, then ask about boosting. IMO this would be like buying a book or a film, then skipping right to the end just to find out what happens before you have enjoyed reading or watching it. So losers, why don't you just try first before you give up and boost.

I pretty much agree about the boosting the first day nonsense. I'm not going to bash anyone or tell anybody they shouldn't do it. That's their choice. Just wanted to add my 2 cents. It is kind of ridiculous to start boosting threads before the game has even come out just so people can get the achievements the first day and as soon as possible and then be done with the game. You don't even know how hard the achievements will be to get. Try some games and try to earn them legit first. Aren't they more rewarding that way? It really has gotten insane. It's all been reduced to a race to brag about who can get a 1000 points in a game first nowadays and not taking the time to enjoy a game. My personal opinion, I try for the achievements on my own first and if I can't get them or if they're too hard and time consuming, then I ask for help to boost for them. Cough*Halo3*Cough. There's just no way I'm going to try for days to laser 2 people at one time and get 4 kills in 4 seconds. But whatever people will do what they want to do. And it's all a competition now just to say you got the 1000 first in a particular game.

wow a boosting thread and the game isn't even out yet.......

I say enjoy the game, and boost when there is no other way for you to earn the achievements. Games are meant to be fun, developers need to stop with the multiplayer ranked achievements. if there gonna make multiplayer achievements, make em in player matches, so that boosters don't ruin the experience for anyone actually trying to play the game legit.

Seriously, earn yourself some achievements and after like a week or so of playing nonstop and you cant get some of the achievements then do it.

In my experience I am a single player kind of guy. There are a select few games that I enjoy playing online regularly.

This is what happens most of the time.

Game comes out and I will play it for a week or two enjoying single player and getting most if not all the achievements. By the time I get around to online most of the time it will be dead with most people going back to the big 3 (Halo3, GoW, CoD4)

Then you have to wait for boosting buddies if you ever want to get any multi-player achievements.

This time I want to try getting them out of the way first and then enjoy the single player.

If this is a game as good as they say it is, you wont need to worry about it going dead online
