Pretty simple, which do u think is more enjoyable to watch, boxing or mixed martial arts, such as UFC, PRIDE, and ELITE XC.

I used to watch boxing regularly. I am a huge fan of Vladimir Klitschko. I think he really represents pro fighters everywhere really well. However, when you come down to it... I am a MMA nut. Been doing martial arts myself since I was 5 and I too do weekend warrior MMA fights locally. MMA is more dynamic, more technical, and more exciting. There are so many more elements in a MMA fight than in boxing. You know one of two things will happen in boxing. He will punch with his right or left. Thats it. You never know with MMA. Kicks, knees, punches, takedowns, chokes, submissions, ground and pound. Its coming from everywhere.

Vladimir is a class boxer, personally I voted for boxing as for me as theyre going out just to win by punching the opponents faces in practically, in UFC and what not they just do whatever they can to win. Also I like to follow boxers such as Vlad, Hardman Hatton and Kahn. All great boxers.

I kind of think just the opposite, i mean the boxers are punching each other in the face, but their wearing huge padded gloves that don't hurt nearly as much as the small thin gloves of MMA. The boxing aspect of MMA is a lot more thrilling and crazy than boxing, at least in my opinion. THeres way more one punch knockouts in MMA.

I think he is just pointing out that he admires the aspect of fighting with only your fists. In MMA you have some many more tools than just punching each other, and I think he just has more appreciation for it. Same way my dad is... I just think MMA is more technical so I admire it more. Most do.

Ya, i see your point. THe only thing that really gets me bored in MMA is when its just a stand-still in someone's full gaurd and nothing is happening. I just wish that they had boxing, but with smaller gloves.

I will tell you this, there is more going on when they are on full guard and just sitting there than appears. Trust me, I have been doing MMA and martial arts myself for a long time. No, its not as exciting when they are just ground and pounding. However to be in guard and start manipulating yourself into positions for moves like a crucifix or hammerlocks takes a lot of work. You will also be surprised how much more energy your entire body exerts when "rolling".

MMA, though i'm a little biased because I know one of the fighters (Roger Huerta). I used to be more into boxing, but I slowly lost interest in it.

I tend to watch more mma than boxing but I watched the Marquez vs. Vazquez fight the other day and that was pretty much amazing so I like both.

MMA hands down. Boxing is slow, and boring when compared against the tactics involved in MMA.
