Okay so the people who pre order pay $59.99
People who dont pre-order pay $59.99

The only thing different is when i am playing against someone who has pre ordered and they are sniping, you will try to get get them, but their sniper rifle has a grenade launcher. Also they is a special "over-powered" sub machine gun. So we are going to have a bunch of pre-ordered people with a major advantage when the online community is just getting started. 13 year old children with childish voices spamming the air waves of the headsets bragging about how they just owned you with a non-existent sniper rifle, because his dad paid $59.99 before he knew anything about the game.

So basically, risk paying $60 on a game that might flop, and have an advantage over the players who are still loyal to purchasing. Not to mention they are apparently a 1 use only card. meaning if your friend pre - ordered and wants to give you his code, it is useless.

Is it just me, or does this seem a little unfair?

From what my card says, the guns are something you unlock in the in-game menu, and appear to be only for campaign mode. Not too many games give exclusive dlc for online...fair is fair, after all.

Now CHARGING for dlc is something else entirely...look at Chromehounds or Ace Combat...you always run across people who purchased content and may have a slight advantage.

nice post.

makes sense if its just for campaign mode and not for 2vs2.

not too sure why they make you pay for d/l content that gives u an advantage, kind of a unloyal move for the fans.

GoW followed up their game with several of FREE maps. which imo is sweet and encourages me to buy GoW2

Thanks for the info on campaign mode only

EA and Free DLC won't happen. Don't be surprised if they have paid DLC up for the first week that just unlocks crap from the disc. I'm sure the two guns will be made available for purchase later.

EA and Sega are DLC *****s.
