any atari game sucks that gets put onto arcade. any atari game is way better in actual arcades, like they should be played.

I remember this game as being one of the numerous freebies they would add onto new computers like 8 years ago or so. Those were the days. Now all I got with my last PC was card games like Solitaire and Hearts!!! If they at least make this game similar with minimal changes from the PC versions that were floating around in the 90's I would be happy.

atari makes stupid games come to arcade and all the achievements are either way to hard or way to easy

yeah, i have played this. i dont like it... there was a local bowling alley that had it on the arcade. Fluster has a good point though, there are only a handful of legit 200/200's on Atari games. In fact, i dont even think i have over 100 points in any atari game. really good for my completion %

I used to love this game in the arcade (this and the periscope sub game where you shot torpedoes at the other subs and ships)...I just don't know how the controls are going to "convert". That being said, slap on a 400 point price point and I am there! Battlezone...with MULTIPLAYER deathmatch...how could you NOT buy it?

Speaking of controls...to keep it "true to it's roots" they could do one of two things. They could let you drive your tank with both Analogue sticks (shooting with the triggers), or they could let you drive your left/ right tracks with the corresponding trigger, letting you shoot with the A button. If they take away the "tank" controls it will ruin the game. Now that I think about it, they'd have to use the sticks, because in the arcade game you could drive in reverse, so the triggers wouldn't work.

I had this game for PC back in the day... I remember it being real fun although that was probably 15 years ago! But for 5 dollars it'd be worth it.

Oh man the torpedoes - I remember that game!! another I used to like was the one with all the depth charges that you shot off the ship.... remember that one!!
