Slow but fun game good luck with these achievments online is actually easier than in game one. Anyone diagreeing must be a god at this game or a MODer.

I voted a "4" barring the "Maniac" & "General" achievements (those 2 are difficulty "11"). I'd also like to share my extreme annoyance with the fact that the achievements in this game are specific to either Classic Mode or Evolved Mode. They should have made them non-specific so that those who prefer one mode over the other are able to enjoy earning the achievements.

A purist will want classic mode.
A modern enthusiast or graphics enthusiast will prefer evolved mode.

This game takes practice and patience. I never played the original arcade game but I image having 2 robust joysticks add to the aesthetic of the game and the precision of the targeting system.

It's hard as hell to hit a tank in classic mode when attempting a critical turn.

Maniac (score 50,000 in classic) may as well be harder than General (score 1,000,000 in classic). Throttle Monkey is for those that also enjoy crack.

Please, if you actually earn these achievements, share your strategy as I'm finding them initially very difficult. The most difficult achievement I've earned is "Lieutenant" (have 5 lives in hand - evolved mode)

I'm gonna classify the ach. where u have to score 1mil impossible. So therefore, gotta put up a 5

This game is crazy hard. Can't even get one achievement. Hopefully after some more practice I'll get at least one.

Gave it a 5, 0/200 for me on this one, really really really wish i didnt buy this, even though it was a LONG time ago.
