Thought you should hear about this!

German site 4players gave the new Alone in the Dark 68% and now Atari threatens to sue them about 50.000€! (http://personalgaming.blogspot.com/2008/06/atari-threatens-reviewer.html)

To make it short for you who are not able to read and understand this german article (http://www.4players.de/4players.php/kommentar/Spielkultur/1803943/58/index.html): 4players of course didn't test a pirate internet beta leak whatever version, they tested the final retail.

Actually we should sue Atari for selling unfinished games like this. :rolleyes:

If ur going to sue Atari, then sue EA and 2k aswell.
because there not making any updates for there glitched games,and shutting down servers when theres a new title coming.

EA aren't worth to get sued, they should be shot IMO... Mofos, can't stand them!^^

Of course they will, but who cares? The customers who were taken on a ride. (Like myself.) Well, Alone in the Dark is a special case for me... I was looking forward do this game (along with thousands of other players) and pre-ordered it. What did I got? The worst game of the year... Atari's *****-move after receiving bad reviews for AitD is just lame. I'm just trying to warn some people, so they don't spend their money on such an unfinished and bugged game.

wow. hypocrite.
you gave the game a 5/10 in your "review", yet you say its the worse game of the year. yet 5 is a middle score. so it cant be all bad right?

My personal rating so far: 5/10 when not even worse...
Just read more carefully next time... :rolleyes:

The only thing I updated in my First-Look/Review is the chapter I'm currently playing, not my personal end-score. I kept playing and it's definitely the worst game of the year I've played so far. I'll update the score when I finished it... I guess I'll go with 3/10 in the end, since I've seen most of the game and I'm in episode 7.
