i just needed "Explosive Plastic Bottle + Taped Plastic Bottle = Taped Plastic Bottle (power up+)" ...

and i belive you just need ONE power up+ ... but thats my little opinion :)

also you can repeat chapters after beating the game to make missed combinations!!!! <-- important (for me) :)

can you go to the different sequences, combine all of the stuff and then save it. Then load up another sequence?

Not still in your inventory, but it still recognizes you did the certain combinations, yes.

Just to make this more clear, you do not need to do every single combination, If you tape a flare to a mosquito spray, you dont need to do it to a rust spray, med spray etc. A flare spray is a flare spray. You only need to make every thing with a different name, not every single combination, most people only need to do a few things after the finish the other achievements

I seriously have no idea what the hell I'm doing wrong on this achievement, it's one of only two achievements I need left before I can get rid of this god forsaken game, and I've done everything, I keep trying to do this freaking thing were you *power up* a explosive plastic bottle but the only thing my game keeps doing is asking how much liquid I wanna take out, wth am I doing wrong?

How do you know what you have left to combine? Is there a stats menu of what combinations you've completed so far?

Im having problems with this one as well. Ive done every combo and nothing. Ive been keeping track and still nothing

The most common errors people seem to make are missing blood bag combos, taping every item by itself, and flare combos. I assure you that it is not glitched and you missed something. I got the achievement with ease just taking a minute every time I got a new item to tape it, then combine it with every possible thing including multi-item combos, saving and continuing on with my game. Flare combos were my last thing (popped early chapter 7 or late chapter 6 I believe) since they are the last item to show up.

dude i got this achievement either late in chapter 3 or early in four....just pay attention to everything you get, the last thing you'll need to worry about is the flares.

No luck. I've tried re-doing most ofthem aince and still no luck.

Try taping up things on their own.

Seriously that's what I missed, for some bizzare reason that's what unlocked mine. I had the list and checked off all the combinations I knew I had done due to things done during the game then proceeded to gather the items to get the rest of them done. As soon as I got the flare I was away, made all the combinations and nothing, not a single thing.

Of course, I was stumped, and bearing in mind I had previously taped up glowsticks and almost everything else beforehand. Glowsticks with tape makes a great repellant for the black water I found, so I used that a lot. And you know what? The second I combined tape with a glowstick *pop*. Handyman Carnby... I still can't figure that one out.

I found a different list - and that one shows "Water bottle" with an empty bottle combined with water. How would you do that? If I go near water with an empty bottle the only thing I can seem to do is throw it.

Oh I remember, sometimes the game counts refilling gasoline bottles with gasoline and with water as combinations too, such as transferring from one to the other. Might be worth a try. But the list you're referring to sounds like it's telling you to transfer some water from one bottle to an empty one.

It says fill an empty plastic bottle with water, and fill an emplty glass bottle with water.

Maybe transfer would work too, but I don't think I've ever seen a full bottle of water. I can't see any way to get water in an empty bottle.

I finally got this to pop by combining a full plastic bottle with a full glass bottle.

I had previously combined plastic with plastic and glass with glass, and the list I had showed you only needed one period.

Just for the heck of it retrying everything I could think of I did this and and ding, it finally popped.

Congrats. Glad you finally got it, it does happen to be a very vague achievement, but then again it falls short of it's potential, just like most aspects in the game.
