can I empty water from bottles?

can i empty water from the vending machine bottles to fill with gassoline? and if I can how? i just want an empty bottle =o(

If you equip the bottle, can't you press the A button to drain it?

I know you can stab the bottle to drain it but then the bottle is useless.

Not sure about pressing A to drain it ???

if u press A without anything in your other hand then u will empty the bottle.
