OK just completed the game, both light and dark endings, and if i'm honest i gotta say i didn't understand either, why did Sarah turn all ugly and weird when i let her live? and why did I when I Killed her?
this story line is all weird..
here's another thing why is the medic guy a contact in your phone? you see him once then that's it, u can never call him.
you might aswell have the security guys arm that you chopped off as a contact it was more useful.

i think in the one where you let sarah live she becomes the devil incarnate so to speak, and vice versa if you kill her, although it just cuts to the credits straight away...... what the hell happened next??? are the general populous saved??? your guess is as good as mine!! poor ending imo

I know, seems a bit backwards to me - surely the 'good' ending would be to kill her - the one you love- to save mankind!
But no, the good ending is to just the things get worse and do nothing! (and release the sequel!)

They were talking about releasing more episodes as DLC. I guess we just need to wait and see.

In Latin, Lucifer translates to Light Bringer.
If you knew that going in, it was pretty obvious that there was not going to be a happy ending.

I was very disappointed, for it to just end so abruptly. From the ongoing story and what you're told about the lock etc. you knew it was gonna get messy but to just end like that? I feel quite let down tbh...

I skipped the last 2 sections as I had to take it back as it was a rental.
Why did they go and intentionally open the doorway for Lucifer? That seemed a bit of a crazy thing to do to be honest.
And if you have to pay for DLC to get the last part of the story, then that is just very, very wrong.

I kinda figured that when Sarah told him the same. Obviously, there wasn't necessarily going to be a good ending, but still, having a game with a "static" ending (it's been decided what's going to happen so to speak) is a major kick in the balls for me. I mean one way or the other, you're letting the devil in and there's naff all you can do about it. So what exactly was the point in playing the game??
