I'd like to know which magazine you guys prefer the most. Right now, I'd have to say EDGE. It covers all systems, and from what I can tell, the reviews are pretty good.

My current subscriptions are:

OXM (Official Xbox Magazine)
NP (Nintendo Power)
GI (Game Informer)
EGM (Electronic Gaming Monthly)

...and I've got EDGE, but you have to pick that up in the store each month. There is no subscription service to it, because it's over 150 pgs and has TONS of content. So far, I love it.

I'd like to know most on those who have GamePro. I almost got that, but I wanted to try GI and EDGE first. I'll probably end up subscribing to that next.

And yes, I read every article in every magazine every month. I love them that much. Completely worth the money for me.

Edit: I though so. EDGE is a UK gaming magazine. It can be sent to US by airmail, but that's extremely expensive (https://www.imsnews.com/ims_subscribe.php?pubid=431).

I think EGM and OXM are great, but right now I'm only subscribed to EGM and OXM is sometimes biased with it's reviews. Especially if Microsoft made the game. I mean they gave Halo 3 a 10, we all know it's definetely not a 10. They gave Mass Effect a 10 too, it's a great game but not a 10. And what, both were made by Microsoft. Then again same goes for PSM, even though I don't own a PS3 I've read some of their reviews, they are just as bad as OXM. But OXM has some good demos, however 90% of the time they are available on Marketplace. So my favorites are OXM and EGM.

I have EGM, OXM and GI. Personally with those and the internet I get all the info I need. Is EDGE any good though? What's the price?

Click the last link in my OP. It's available to the US, but at a high price. I, personally, like it, but it takes a while to get into US stores and cost $9 each. I really do enjoy it, but there is no way that I'll be able to get a subscription. I'll just pick up the new one every time I'm at the mall.

Get OXM or Game Informer. Either way, I don't think either are worth it. I'm about to order a subscription to PC Magazine, though. $24.97 for 24 issues, hell yea!

That's the same deal for GI. I love it. How's PC magazine? I've been looking for a good PC magazine as well, but my dad has a ton of them so I figured I'd stick with whatever he has right now.

Is that where you get all your useless PC knowledge? :p

Ha. Ha. We've got jokes at 3am (good song by the way). ;)

But yes, most of it. My dad works for EMC. Not sure if you've heard of them before, but they're a computer repair and storage company. I don't know. I've always been interested in computers. Ever since I've been on one, I was always interested in booting the random applications I found on the PC. I was so curious about it I just wanted to keep exploring. I thought I was going to get in trouble for starting Adobe Reader. XD

Anyway, I soon evolved to going through just about everything and stopped firing up random applications, unless I absolutely felt it necessary. Got into Ares, and that's where my true PC knowledge started. I encountered some problems. Easy ones like, "ZOMG! Where did all of my songs go?!?". Stuff like that. They just helped me to learn my way around. I guess that was around 10 or 11 years old. I'd say 12 at the latest, because I know that my dad started teaching me about virueses, trojans, mailware, spam ect. on my 13th birthday, as that was when my laptop died. :(
It was a good thing we got the songs off this time (yes, it died before). We were expecting it so my Bday present was a 60gb laptop harddrive. I think that's really where my PC knowledge started. ;)

Edge is my favorite by far, but if you want another good multi-format magazine try Games Tm. I have a feeling though that it might be another UK only mag, it's pretty good though. It covers all formats and has a large retro section every month.

i like game informer because it has the most useful info and you can even see typos in some of the articles so you can tell that they are made by fellow gamers. granted they give an edge on games like mgs4 so they dont lose readers, but who doesnt

I used to subscribe to Gamepro. It's not worth it. The reviews are stupid and they are out of 5.

I used to have OXM but the discs (mostly the reason I had them) got old fast and the mag was outdated by the time it came out.

I recommend saving your money (and the trees) and get rid of subscriptions and learn to use the internet to get the latest and greatest information. For reviews you can go to multiple sites to get a better picture and for exclusive coverage you can usually get it online the day it is released on blogs and other similar sites.

The other option is to subscribe online. PSN has Qore which is an online magazine subscription for the PS3.

But can you take the internet to the toilet with you? I have OXM, EGM, and GI. My GI just ran out and I don't plan on renewing. OXM is great for Xbox, and have had a SUB. for over 2 years. EGM is by far my favorite. I've been a SUB. for close to 10 years, and I still own most of the magazines from over the years. I still get a kick out of reading reviews for N64, Dreamcast, and PS1 games.
