How do you save an exit????

I know this is a very dumb question, but I was playing the other night, and have know idea how to save, do you have to complete the first two days, and then are you allowed to save, When i was playing I hit the start button but all it reads is resume, etc. no save and exit. again sorry for the dumb question

if you quit out of a hole before you finish it. it will save from the last finished hole.

so if you quit on hole 10 before you get the ball in the hole, you can restart on hole 10 on resume tournment
