Has anyone tried using a memory card to make backups of endless mode saves? What I mean is that, after a day's worth of playing, you transfer your saved game to the memory card for safe keeping. That way, if you lose power or something else terrible goes wrong, you're only out a days work.

I got the premium console, and haven't had any reason to buy a memory card... yet. If this'll work, it might just be worth it as a little insurance to protect my save.

A good idea....I'd hate to zap 115 Levels in one swipe! I may investigate a cheap mem card....

The thing is, Be***eled 2 (like most other XBLA games) incorporate their save file into your profile. They don't keep a separate save like retail games do.

And you can't just copy your profile. You need to move it. They did this to stop people from save-file cheating for achievements, but it screwed all of us who just want to back-up our stuff over pretty hard. :/

Actually, that's incorrect. Be***eled 2 does have its own save file, it is not in your profile. Microsoft does not allow you to transfer the save file to a memory card though. There is a way to do it.

Buy an Xbox 360 hard drive docking station which allows you to connect your 360 HD to your computer and then you can copy your save file over. I'm currently doing this and I am on level 197. I have yet to lose my save, but it feels really good having the assurance that doing this provides. I use a product called Xport which you can buy at BestBuy or elsewhere. I back up my save file every 10 levels. I am also using and suggest a good surge protector, or even a UPS which I've contemplating purchasing. If you did not buy Be***eled 2 on the 360 you play on, play offline because if you lose connection while playing, say bye bye to your save. I've lost connection a few times while playing, but I bought Be***eled on the same system I'm playing on now so it didn't matter. Like other people have stated, never get up and leave the game paused. The most you ever want to pause the game for with endless open is less than a minute. Anything more than that and I get nervous. This is basically a rehash of a post I made on the official Xbox forums, and I've posted this information elsewhere here and there. Just trying to get it out there so people realize there is a way you can play without fear! Maybe a mod could sticky this?
