Keeping 1up / extra life stock

If you've gone around stockpiling extra lives to have more attempts at a difficult part in the game and don't want to lose all the work you've done to get those extra lives then perform the following:

Accumulate your extra lives.
Save your game.
Start making your attempts to pass the difficult section.
If you expend all your lives then sign-out and retreat to the dashboard.

When you restart your game you'll have all your stockpiled lives ready to try again! :cool:

I'm using this on the Albatross for Hard difficulty right now.

Yeah, I had to do this on the Albatross level on Hard difficulty too as well since learning that stage is a pain in the ass. I was considering doing a little 1-up FAQ (locations) since no one has done it yet.
