This sells for EVERYWHERE at $150. However, I happened to stumble upon it at EBGames of all places for $92.

We have this on my friend's setup and what it basically does is eliminate packets. Your normal router will throw information in packets, thus slowing down time received/sent while it awaits packet confirmation, creating lag.

The D-Link 108G gives a free flowing information system, thus increasing the "effect" of speed and reducing lag. It also prioritizes gaming applications over PC applications. And it is the easiest router to set up.

Anyway, get it before EB realizes they are selling the wrong model for 92 bucks (the wired one costs about this much).

I think the best thing I ever did was go wireless. It is so much better now that I don't have cable going everywhere, and when you have two floors, it is a must to go wireless.

This is the exact router we use in our gamecenter. We have been using it without hassle since last April, and it COMMONLY handles 8-10 Xboxes and 360s on XBL simultaneously, and an occasional peak of 16 systems on XBL. Oh yeah-Mrs. Bomb has a computer on the network serving 30 websites. Lag on H2 (or just about any other game) is never an issue. On COD2, we get lag-but EVERYBODY else has lag. That's why our gamers call it "Lag of Duty".
This is a terrific router. Get it, use it, love it! Thanks for givin' the forum a heads up, Ghost!

Ya it rocks, I'm using it now and I noticed a significant upgrade to the gaming portion of my usage. I run 13MB down and 1MB up and brother it feels like I'm running twice that now! (tho for the record I never really complained about my connection)
