Haven't been on my xbox in a while. Whats a good game to get kick started again? I want a really good game that I can play for a long time like PDZ or something, not a really generic shooter like COD.

The Orange Box is great, it'll keep you going for awhile.

I heard that too. Do people still play online?

Gears is pretty fun for a while as long as you've got friends to play it with and then of course there's Rock Band 2 which is purely amazing. Also down the RPG road there's Oblivion, Two Worlds, or Kingdom Under Fire which are amazing (if you're an rpg fan), and Fable 2 and Fallout 3 are released later this month.
The Orange Box is great and will keep you busy for a while and yes, TF2 still has a decent online community.

From the original xbox:
Manhunt .. I was literally ****ting bricks. But its a damn awesome game.
And on the mp is Fahrenheit / Indigo Prophecy
360 - Something like rock band is what tends to last these days.

The Orage Box is without a doubt the best bang for your buck out there you will find. Half-life 2 and the two expansions are all really fun and take some time. Portal is awesome. And TF2 is amazing. The online community for TF2 is smaller than most other shooters, but you don't have all the annoying stereotypes and everyone is pretty helpful in getting you adjusted to the style of gameplay. Well worth the money (especially now since you can probably get it for $30).

Orange Box is amazing if you are a Half-Life fan or you just like great games ;)
But if you want an older looked over gem, I'd go with Gun. I find it really fun and just picked it back up and topped it off 1000/1000 over a two year absence. Graphics might be down, but great story, music, and characters.

XBLA: MLB Stickball, just fun to play.
XBox360: Brothers in Arms: HH, disappointed in the multiplayer, but the story mode is historic.
