Northstar Nirvana question

I got this achievement with the awesomeness cheat on( i was testing something, i'm not THAT bad) and it said the left side of my screen that the achievement was unlocked but i didn't get the actual achievement.
Does it not work with the cheat?

I turned off my xbox....i just hope it didn't save first...

I think the achievements lock when you use cheats, but this game is so easy, dont use them!!! I have heard all you have to do is go all the way out, and reload your rider, and the cheat effect is off, and you can start over getting awesomeness. I think it will work.
