**Updated 11/09**
Wrote information since I do not plan on writing a whole in detail guide. and am going to assume some one with better knowledge of RPG's will do a much better job. Just warning any one looking for a guide, this just a kinda heads up to what to expect really. I'm only writing about the achievements that I have actually seen unlocked. My GT will not have the achievements as I am writing about my boyfriends playthrough. Also note this is a first play through as of right now. So the times may be longer, seeing as there is the first time exploring listening to dialog and just enjoying the game. Times are at the time they were achieved in this game. Some may be done in different order and achieved at an earlier time. Origin Achievements To achieve these you need to complete each of the Origins stories before the main story. These achievements will unlock right after you have completed the origin story. Got these unlocked first. Finished one origin saved and started another..and so forth. So I wrote the time in which it took to complete. Obviously times vary. Human Noble:1 hour and 11 minutes Dalish Elf: 1 hour and 15 minutes Dwarf Commoner: 1 hour Magi: 1hour and 10 minutes City Elf:54 minutes Noble Dwarf: 1 hour and 10 minutes **may be a spoiler, but just a tip on the Noble Dwarf story. We got stuck at this part. Anyways there comes a time when you need to use a ring on something, but you do and it does not work. Look at the floor there are pressure plates you can set one of each of your party on, then use the ring. Wasted a lot of time not knowing what to do** BloodiedCompleted an origin story without the main character ever falling in battle This can be unlocked during any of your origin stories. None are too tough. this one actually was unlocked for us after the first one. Grey WardenKill 100 Dark Spawn They are the main enemies you fight. Just wrote the time spent in game before this. 2 hours and 10 minutes Last of the WardensCompleted Ostagar This is the first story achievement. TinkererCrafted an item You achieve this by using some one with Herbalism. There will be a list of ingredients you need. You can get this fairly early as well. PilgrimComplete a Chanter's Board Quest. Bulletin board that contain quests. You get the first one pretty early one. 4 hours and 52 minutes. VeteranMain character learned a specialization I am pretty sure this is when you reach Level 7 7 hours 21 minutes Elite Main character learned two specializations Level 14 18 hours PersuasiveSucceeded at 5 difficult Persuasion attempts. When you are in conversations there will be (persuade) in front of some of the dialog choices. 9 hours and 11 minutes Bully Succeeded at five difficult Intimidate attempts Same as Persuasive, but instead that is a (intimidate) in front of a dialog choice. Educated Used a tome to improve the main character's attributes, talents, spells, or skills Simply use a tome, either buy and I think you can just find them. You will get this achievement just depending on when you acquire one. Decision Achievements. Haven't done it to all, but saving before a decision and then reloading to do the opposite will unlock the achievements. This is just assuming that all after the first one will let you as well. I see no reason as of yet why this will not work. NOTE since this is not an actual guide I will not write how and what you need to do to get these achievements so I do not spoil the story for anyone. So do not be afraid. First Decision PoacherSided with the Elves in "Nature of the Beast" time at 12 hours Slayer Sided with the werewolves in "Nature of the Beast" Magic Sympathizer Sided with the mages in "Broken Circle" 14 hours 56 minutes Annulment Invoker Sided with the templars in "Broken Circle" Now these have yet to be completed but just some information. Will update when actually achieved. The Romance achievements **edit-Some of this may be wrong, Everyone has the heart meter (Seeing as the dog does as well) but with some of dialog choices I am going to still assume you may be able to try for all of them) There are four of these. This play through we have a Female Character. And have obtained the first three of the party that have the option for romance. Both male and female can have a romance with the main female you are. Have not tried the male character yet so I will not say either way. To have the romances there is bar you need to fill. Different things effect this. How you handle some situations can positively or negatively effect certain party members, some times one can get points added and the other one subtract. You may also engage in conversation with each party member. Choose you word carefully and you should gain points. Another option is that you may go and choose just one of them to take in your party. Talk to them in private and the conversations change to stuff like " now we are alone" lol. So that seemed to get some points fast. There are also gift items that may be given. only have one as of right now and it looks as if you can only get three on one play through. Wine, Woman, and Song Experienced the thrill of romance with Leliana Got this with a female character. Have not tried it with a male yet, but have heard that is possible as well. was about at 12 hours by the itme we got the bar filled. **New update, It looks as if you may need a male and female main character to get all romances. I will write the names down soon once I know for sure myself.** Level Achievements There are three of these. Mage level 20 Rogue level 20 Warrior level 20 So we may be looking at three play throughs. **new** Although looking around the internet I did find people talking about a glitch right after the Origin story, not sure exactly what it is and how long it takes since I have not seen it done. Just a heads up for any one that would like to search. Will post more on other achievements later Keeping track of how long it takes to get to level 20, mission achievements and finishing the game. General game thoughts. These are just my own personal thoughts on the game. Do not expect a very good description. The graphics in the cutscenes and gameplay are not as good as I had thought. Do not expect what some of the trailers looked like. Although some of the characters really do look great. And it is by far from a bad looking game. Especially some of the female characters, I was amazed by some of the eyes. You control up to a four character party. One of which being your main. It is slower then I like. But I am also not really used to RPGs.So the slow almost take turn type hits took a bit to get used to. I have gotten used to more of the Action RPG. The stories are pretty entertaining. All in all a pretty entertaining game. Great RPG, one of the better ones that I have seen. Last edited by kellydee : November 9th, 2009 at 06:33 PM. |

Thanks Sabuc.
I figured there is very little information on the game here about the game. It's not the most informative, just wrote it to give some general ideas. There are three class types. Six Origins. |

Next Mage, Rouge or Warrior. Then you choose your Origin. Some origins are only available choosing certain types. like If you choose a Warrior Human, you will be able to choose Noble Human. If you choose Mage Human then the option for Magi Origin is available. Quote:
This is pretty fun game. I am not really into this type of RPG, but even I have enjoyed most of it. My boyfriend who plays a lot of these types of games is in love with it. You definitely get a lot of hours of gameplay out of it. Last edited by kellydee : November 7th, 2009 at 09:43 PM. |

As for MW2, i received confirmation, that it was already on its way on Friday, so if everything works out it will arrive on monday, but usually there are no interruptions/problems so i'm already happy ... a brand new game brightens up every morning...can't wait to play it...although i should concentrate on my studies as well ... and i want to finish collecting in Wolfenstein ... and i want to start Dragon Age ... too many games, too much work, too little time ![]()
