The Report System

Tying in with the Forum Rules, you will find the Report Post button () at the top right of every single post. Please use this icon to get the quick attention of the moderators.

Some further information:

• When you use that icon, your next screen will read that it should be used "ONLY to report spam, advertising messages, and problematic (harassment, fighting, or rude) posts," but go ahead and use it for anything else--anything a mod should look at, and we will take care of it right away.
• When you report something, the system will generate a post on your behalf in a staff-exclusive area of the website, so your post count will raise by 1 for each post you report.
• Because of the fact that no one else except the staff will see all report posts, the person whom you reported will never know which member reported him or her, and the staff will not disclose that information. 100% confidentiality is guaranteed.

All and all, it's a simple system and if you're good at reporting, then you're obviously helping the mods out and know a lot about forum stuff, which will definitely raise your chances at becoming a moderator.
