No joke! Took me three playthroughs to get the 1000 GS. Missed a few collectables on my first run through, so I had to pick them up during the second play. Used the third playthrough for the tough achievements. After awhile, the game got really boring.

Got it from Gamefly today. It took me 2 playthroughs to get all 1000. Took about 4 hours or so.

What I did is...if I was about to die (which only happened 2-3 times between the final two bosses) I just quit and then started back up again. Not as much of a pain as I thought it would be...I got the speed achievement during the same playthrough as the perfect.
