This is a walkthrough of each level, giving you the best path to take if you want to get 100 points in each level to unlock that levels eternal mode. Eternal mode is just like the normal version of a level, except with no timer so you can roll to your hearts content.
A majority of the information listed here is from the GameFAQs message board for this game. Credit for the Roller Roaster information goes to the GameFAQs user Mistress Jennifer, and all the rest of the information is from Fraust Dogger AKA GameFAQs user GreatDogger. Update: Added better Chatéau Notre Desir information. Egg School Level completion condition: No target category or goal size, level is complete when you roll up cousin Marcy. Time Limit: None NOTE: There is no eternal mode for this stage, this will get you 120 points but that does nothing for you. This one is so easy but since I've got almost every level I figured I'd just get them all written down. All you do is get as big as possible without picking up Marcy. Now, I don't know if I was just always too large, but I never saw Marcy. She is either inside or very tiny and rolling one of the balls. After getting most of the green pieces and all of the pink, stand still in front of the balls and wait until one runs away from you. Then you get to run from it while you get yellow pieces and then finally paintings from the wall. Just go all out and get the 120 points with 50cm7mm. Risk less than I got or get more to be safe, it's your call but with a tutorial level you really don't want to have to play it more than once or twice. It doesn't even unlock an eternal, then again it already was except for Marcy. Delightful Dirigible Target Category: Playful Start Size: 5cm Goal Size: 20cm Time Limit: 3 Minutes First time attempting 100 points I got it with 32cm, second time was 31cm, both 100 points. So you don't really need a set path but I'm sure those who struggle would like a tip of sorts. All I did was roll around the starting areas for a while and then go to the floor. Once around 15cm, start hitting the side shelves for toys/candy. Once you get around 25cm or so then start going to the middle shelves and the food table. This one is probably the easiest of them all. Oasis Café Target Category: Drinks Start Size: 5cm Goal Size: 50cm Time Limit: 5 Minutes Start where you're on an elevated platform and collect all the little japanese wooden things (Fu, Kinsho, Ginsho, Hisha, etc.) After that hit the floor and make your way to the corner where you should be able to pick up the Daruma head and four body (stacked japanese doll.) You should be 14cm now. After that I rolled my way across the floor to the food table, getting up to 20cm and headed for the exit. Outside pick up stuff in the street and make your way for the burger shop, you need to be 38cm to pick up the patty stacks that give a nice boost. Once 50cm climb up onto the shelf and onto the fryer where they cook the beef patties. Leaving the shop at 54 cm, you should have exactly 2mins left. Collect the bowling pins right outside and go up the stairs. From here on out you'll be going from the top area outside to the bottom, up and down the stairs basically. Once you are 78cm (maybe smaller) head toward the burger shop again but this time hang a right to over where the shoes and T-shirts are by the wooden fence. I went through the burger shop one more time and then outside again before the time was up, finishing my 100 points with a 86cm Katamari. Lady Luck Casino Target Category: Expensive Start Size: 5cm Goal Size: 60cm Time Limit: 5 Minutes Without question make sure you start inside the house with all of the poker chips and a roulette table. Best place is to start right where you can see about five stacks of poker chips right in front of you. Also on the roulette table isn't too bad since you can reach the poker chips in about 5-10sec. Anyway when you get there you need to collect tiny stuff around the table to get to 6cm first, make sure you don't leave the table until after you have every stack of chips, giving you just under an 9cm Katamari. Make your way over to the snails on the other end of the table for 10cm and to the chess board for just over 12cm. Now things like pipes and watches are easy to pick up. Clean whatever else you can off of the table, after getting the set of bills stacks I was at 20cm. Drop down to the floor now where the lego stacks are and pick those up, then to directly to the side and grab the doughnuts then baby bottles. Spend about 20secs picking up other assorted things before you move into the next room. Quickly move down the stairs and out the front, wooden door. Turn a quick right and grab the 'drink' glasses that are all stacked on top of each other, giving you a 40cm katamari. Rush back inside and pick up things on the first floor, wine bottles ship in a bottle, etc. When around 50cm the bookshelf will open to reveal a ton of gold. You'll be 65cm once you pick it all up with a just under 2mins remaining. Go outside using the other door to the shallow pool outside, pick up books and melons from the house on your way there. Grab everything you can in this first outside area, teddy bears, lizards, cats, etc. 1m is a good place to stop before going into the other half of the yard. Wrap around and pick up everything in the outer path, especially the bulky garden plants. Keep going until you are back at the front wooden door, pick up the French dolls with swords and then go back into the house, and up the staircase back into the starting room. You should have about 30sec to pick up as much as you can in there by just rolling in a circle over and over. My 1m62cm got me 100 points and the eternal. Sunrise Castle Target Category: Japanese Start Size: 5cm Goal Size: 2m Time Limit: 6 Minutes Start the same way I suggested for Delightful Dirigible, drop to the floor and start picking up little stuff until you're at 15cm and then get the shelves. Do this until you are 25cm if not more, then go outside and into the burger shop, starting with the floor, then counter, and back to the floor before leaving. The only difference was that I didn't go into the city until over 85cm. Pick up both blockades to the city (Cones and 30cm signs) to reach that size. After that it's just like the start of Seadome. Though I suggest you stick to the right as the road is too crowded at the moment. I rolled around in a large circle around the city, getting my bulk past 1m with the kendo masks. Grab the money boxes, bales of rice, and then everything else in the in the corner. Pick whatever you can on that route until 1m40cm or more and hit the kids sitting on the bridge, then the movie crew once again. After that just keep picking up as many japanese people as possible and larger things as you grow and they become available. You need to be fast because the problem here is that there aren't very many things larger than the people running around the city. It's a good idea to make sure that once you're around 3m that you get all the people in an area before moving on, backtracking after that point is not a good idea. I was at 3m30cm when there was only 1min remaining so you might want to try and shoot for that time. Ended up with 3m94cm for 100 points though I have a feeling you can probably do it with 3m80cm, not sure. Cloud 9 Forest Target Category: Plants Start Size: 20cm Goal Size: 5m Time Limit: 6 Minutes Start outside where you can roll forward and pick up some pears, seems to be the easiest start. Then turn around and pick up some things on your way inside the house, honeycomb gives a great boost. When you are 35cm or so enter the house from either side and pick up bunnies and such until you're 45cm. Do not go up the stairs beyond the bunnies with bread sticks, it's a waste of time. Roll in the hidden bookshelf for gold bars to boost up to 60cm, and get over 80cm before you leave the house. Roll around both yards briefly until you are able to pick up people, no smaller than 1m40cm, 1m60cm if possible is good. Roll to the left as you exit to pick up some barrels, then keep going that direction to the huge barrel pile in the corner. Keep picking up people on your way into the water, get the lotus leaves and people in there before exiting. At the 3min mark you should be 3m large, go back and pick up the farm animals and their fencing, then leave into the city when you're 3m70cm or so. Grab as many Russian dolls as you can find for a boost, then quickly head into the ocean picking up flag buoys and sumos, etc. while you curve to the left. Don't pick up the duck boats unless you're 6m or more, knocking them over at 5m+ and chasing them down is a waste of time. We're searching for breakwater blocks now when 5m in size and every other thing that's on the way. After you've found six clusters of them you should be at 7m40cm so now it's time to get back on shore and pick up some cars. You're going to need a little over 1min remaining. Work your way over to the starting town, get as close to 10cm as you can before entering and then clean up inside the town, starting with the trees. You should hardly need any of the houses, just pick up until 12m and then exit back into the town to finish with some elephants and the remaining cars, if not houses. I finished with 13m45cm to get 100 points. Roller Roaster Target Category: Hot Goal Temperature: 10,000°C Time Limit: None I started out by rolling up the triangle rice cakes and hamburgers, along with one pizza full of hot sauce, working my way towards the briefcase/chair ladder. From there, I worked around the counter, on the register side. I skipped the gaps between registers, and instead hit a straight line towards the end, cutting across to the stove. I picked up most of what was there, and then dropped onto the floor. It isn't worth risking hitting the cold soda dispenser jigger. Once on the floor, I picked up a couple more items and went up the broom. I worked towards the hot rack, picking up everything I could before rolling up it and onto the top shelf. From there, it was another straight line through many burgers and hot dogs to the end, where I carefully grabbed all of the hot sauce bottles from on top of the pizza, and then once again dropped to the floor. Be careful of the fire extinguishers. Roll towards the door, as you should be getting close to big enough to exit the shop. It is too small with too many large obstacles to be very much use. Once you ding up the larger amount, grab the two bags and the meat in front of the door and exit. Once there, collect some of the trays and giant burgers, then head right. There is a line of bags and plates leading towards a grill. Head right up a hill again, and onto the top of the grill. There are four meats and several kabobs, and then you can drop down and head right (again). Keep on the grass, because those damn scooter guys WILL knock you into the water if you aren't careful. There are four thermoses to the right, and in front of them a plank with two plates on it. It leads up a small hill to several more kabobs. Don't bother with them all, your goal is closer to the river. There are several fireworks around a cannon, they all pump up your heat by quite a bit. Roll around them, and snag a few other bits and pieces on the beach before rolling onto the vending machines, over the sumo wrestler, and onto the far bank. There are many more items to collect there. Follow the bank to the right, under the bridge, and across another water-level bridge thing. It's the place where the tiger on fire flies around. All the way across to the area with the jumbo jumbo shrimp, collecting whatever it is you can find there, then turn around. The tiger fire flying carpet has three sides, go out the one you HAVENT used yet. You should now be facing the area you took the fireworks from the cannon at. And you should now be large enough (if you weren't before), to pick up the torches. Do so, and continue to follow the SLOPING bank around. It'll be tight, with snowmen and gloves all over the place, but if you keep close to the water, you should be fine. there should be firemen on your left, running around like maniacs. There is also a santa clause, some giant ice creams, and other nasty stuff. With a lot more care, you can make your way onto the bridge in front of you. Once across it, work your way back and forth in that area until you finish. EVERYTHING there is hot, I believe. Everything in the street is for sure. Seadome Target Category: Ocean Start Size: 50cm Goal Size: 25m Time Limit: 8 Minutes You can pretty much start anywhere and roll around the streets picking up everything you can. Around 1m40cm or so you should cross the bridge and pick up all the kids sitting alongside the ledge. Then go to the movie crew in the corner with the green fencing and pick them up, getting the marathon runners next that run right across. 3m50cm is a good size to leave the starting town, pick up some gorillas and pineapples before heading into the ocean. 4m80cm or so you can go into the ocean and start picking up sumo wrestlers and breakwater blocks that give a huge boost. Keep heading through the ocean path, at around 6m50cm you'll find swan boats, keep picking up and going forward. 8m50cm you should probably get back on shore to the harbor area, picking up cargo containers and then hit the streets and start working on cars. You should have a little under 3.5 mins at this time. Pick up round trees at 10m and head for the "other" starting town that has sailboats separating it from the sea. Once you are 13m go pick up the boats and then roll around the little town area until you have most of it. Go toward the new area now that you are far beyond the 12m requirement, pick up stuff here until 24m and then rush back into the city behind where we picked up cars earlier. Get the buildings here until you are 29cm or so and get back to the larger city and pick up it's buildings. Do not bother with the airport or the ocean around the larger city, it's a waste of time with stuff either too large or too small for the katamari. Just at or under 40m you should have 1min left, when the size is right go back yet again to the smaller city and get it's larger buildings now that you are big enough. At 45m roll up the Japanese town too and then come all the way back to the bigger city to finish up the buildings. When you have a size of 52m now go into the ocean and pick up those islands and netting cages for 56m which got me 100 points. Last edited by Seiryu : October 21st, 2007 at 02:46 PM. |

Shani Circuit
Target Category: Rings Start Size: 88cm8mm Goal Size: None Time Limit: 7 Minutes It's complicated and there are so many ways to do it, also so many ways to do it wrong. General knowledge seems like it would be more useful than hardcore, specific direction or advice. Size helps and it cripples you all at the same time. You need to balance out small wheels with things that will actually help your size so you can get bigger and bigger wheels. For every opportunity you gain by a new size spike, you lose that many wheel opportunities as well, perhaps more and the level has far too many for me to list them all. Start with these thoughts in mind, find toilet paper rolls and whatever else you can to get a size good enough to pick up people so they stop getting in the way. Roll under the green fencing in the middle close to the beginning, before 2m helps, then jump in the water and grow some more. Roll over the green fencing when you are exactly or just slightly over 3m to be safe, you'll start collecting it soon after if you get too big. Then go back into the ocean at about 3m50cm to finish it's floating rings. Leaving the town at about 600 rings with over 4mins left is a very good idea. Get the tires right as you leave the 3m barrier and stay out of the water. Knocking over cars is a bad idea, takes too much time to find them and you lose tires by ditching them. Unless you can pick it up easy, save it for later. Make your way toward four yellow bulldozers, in between is a huge pillar of bikes, just roll a tiny circle under it and they will fall a little faster. Now grow so you can comfortably pick up cars, then clean up the traffic games all over any way you like. There are race cars, parked trucks in the middle, stretch limos on the mountain cliffs, as well as tanks and other trucks near and inside the Japanese town. Because some things move and some don't, my path seems to alter each and every time so you just have to use your best judgment when you go about it. Your goal is to end with 2,000 wheels. I got 1996 for 99 points, literally missing it by one car. Then 2,314 on the next attempt for my 100 points. Coolhouse Target Category: Cold Start Size: 20cm Goal Size: 1m Time Limit: 3 Minutes The route is to start as close to the door with the mini ice pool outside. Don't worry about picking up items just haul your katamari to the 360 controllers that spell out "360" pick them all up and then curve around the yard and pick up little stuff along the way until you come inside. You should be 40cm at this point, curve toward the bookshelf that opens to reveal a hidden pike of Xbox 360 consoles and pick them all up. Quickly take the same door outside you did in the beginning to the ice. Roll up the teddy bears and whatever else you can quickly to make 90cm. Then go back in the house right away and up the stairs, you should be able to pick up the chairs, then back downstairs for the TV's and lizards and then go back outside toward the same door toward the ice. (You will not be going inside anymore.) Once outside You will probably have about 40-30sec left on the clock, pick up penguins, the dog, and snowmen. When you're 1m60cm start picking up the people (some you can some you can't yet) at this point just grab everything in sight outside and eventually you will get it. I ended up with 1m84cm which is 100 points and unlocked eternal. Dynaville Target Category: Energy Start Size: 50cm Goal Size: 500m Time Limit: 10 Minutes Begin by the fruit stand and pick them all up, boosting the katamari to 95cm right form the start. The meat stand next to it will boost you 1m30cm, then make your way to the important corner barrels, making sure you're 1m60cm or more or else you won't be able to pick them up. Hit the water, then the yard outside of the starter house (even though you don't start there this time) if you can make it to the animals and their fence before you head out your katamari should be 4m70cm or larger. Collect Russian dolls and beach umbrellas on the stands before going into the ocean. Look for breakwater blocks and swan boats because you should be easily over 6m by this point. Grow until you can pick up the islands and When you get close to 11m get out of the water and back onto shore. Try and aim for the rectangular karaoke boxes and then go grab cars and round trees on your way to the starting area. If you are over 13m before you enter the town, you can skyrocket to 25m after getting the sailboats and houses. Now go past the 12m area. Stick to the left to pick up the smaller houses, wrap around getting the round trees and then go back to the smaller town when you are at 33m or so. Collect buildings all the way into the japanese town, then go back once again to the larger city and clean up what you weren't able to before. You should have over 5mins and be over 52m by the time you re-enter the larger city. After you clean up the city go into the water for netting cages and then dash for the 60m barrier american cones. Follow the path forward grabbing the great wall of china and all of the stuff around it. Then quickly move to the sand area with the pyramids and sphinxes. Keep going around the path and remember to curve right and don't pick up the small stuff, only big buildings. When you are 160m go toward the ice area and pick up the Eagle islands, keep doing this until there are next to one left, leaving you with about 230m-250m so pick up clouds and other large objects to get to 300m so more of the world will "unlock." Once the katamari grows past 300m you should see a path of balloons beyond mt Rushmore, and the building with a small circle of clouds floating around it called the Mayan pyramid. Follow that path all the way to a huge volcano (If you can't see it right away you're going the wrong way.) You should have just over 2mins now so start collecting the jungle pieces in a circle around the huge volcano. When you notice a rain god surrounded by clouds and more jungle off to the side, leave the volcano and pick up all his stuff, making you at or very close to 800m. Return to the volcano and pick up the islands around it and the rest of the jungle. You should be at 900m now and the world is literally yours for the taking. Looking away from the volcano, roll to the right in a counter clockwise circle and start picking up islands and clouds, just skip anything that is too big, including the floating city. When you make it back to the volcano the katamari should be at just under 1km300m with about 50sec or less remaining. It's a little more confusing to find now but from the volcano you need to travel back to the center where the starting islands are. Roll around just these starting islands now until you are 1km400m, then hurry over to the floating city that we skipped earlier to pick up a fast and easy 1km600m, which should get you what you need. I ended up with 1km621m for 100 points. Schloss Kosmos Target Category: Powerful Start Size: 1m20cm Goal Size: 10,000km/Plug the Black Hole Time Limit: 18 Minutes plus a 2 Minute bonus when you reach space Alright this level is huge, so huge that it was created with far more time than necessary. It'll test big parts of all my other strats so I'm just going to give general things to aim for and because "most" areas seem to have more things to pick up, it all felt a whole lot easier. The first thing you need to realize is that this should be either the last, or one of the last levels you ever complete for a 100 point eternal. All the times you failed to get 100 I hope you let your katamari finish so you can add more planets. That's right your old katamaris are actual planets for you to pick up once you reach outer space. So just keep that in mind before you begin. Now the start, we're in the Japanese town so standard "comet" level rules apply. Though now you start at 1m20cm and the kids on the bridge are replaced with other kids and there are a lot of fires back where the bales of rice and money boxes were. So what you want to do is pick up some stuff on your way to that bridge, get the kids then get to that corner and pick up the fires. After you do all that you'll be over 2m50cm easy, so just keep picking up people until you're over 4m and exit through the 3m cones into the first city that I've been calling the smaller city. Your choice, either go into the water for the 13m or pick up cars and round trees for 13m. Either way works just fine, even a combination of the two. Once you do that go into the other starter town opposite of the japanese town that you really didn't start in, but you do plenty of times on other levels. Again this will skyrocket you from 13m to 25m almost instantly. From here on out it's Dynaville/Sun all over again. Go to the next bigger city to collect buildings until 30m or so, go back to the smaller city and pick up buildings and tsunami islands for 50m or so before returning back to the bigger city again to get it's buildings. No airport, and no ocean until you're done with the majority of the skyscrapers and can get the netting cages. Follow the bud islands to the american cone 60m barrier, then follow the great wall of china up to shore and take in only the biggest buildings. It's now easier to get to 160m before the ice area eagle islands. However, there are less clouds once you finish so either before or after take the time to collect some extra stuff. Once you break 300m more world will appear so get ready for some more Deja'vu in the next paragraph because it's almost identical to Dynaville's end. Once the katamari grows past 300m you should see a path of balloons beyond mt Rushmore, and the building with a small circle of clouds floating around it called the Mayan pyramid. Follow that path all the way to a huge volcano (If you can't see it right away you're going the wrong way.) Go collect the jungle pieces in a circle around the huge volcano. Looking away from the volcano, roll to the right in a counter clockwise circle and start picking up islands and clouds, just skip anything that is too big but this time around you can get the floating city no problem without backtracking. When you make it back to the volcano the katamari should be at just under 2km200m. From here on out it's counter clockwise all over again, only this time you're going to be picking up giant tornados and every big island you missed or were too small for. All you need to do is break 3km and you appear in a whole new world. 3km is the magical size where we learn the world is actually round and covered in huge clouds of food. This is easy mode, not only is there nothing to bump into, but everything gives a massive boost and your katamari feels like it has a second wind. Now more slowdown from being too huge so take advantage of that and dash yourself over those clouds and mountains. Stay away from America, Canada, Antarctica, and Australia once you get a little over 2,000km. Start at Europe or Asia and clean up the other continents and countries not listed, try and end with south america and then take all the ones I told you to avoid. Roll around like mad until you get into space, getting 10,000km is faster and easier than you would think, but now things get hard so you need to be slower and more patient rather than the fast and efficient we're used to. If you didn't realize it yet, space is like an inverted sphere, like rolling around the inside of a fishbowl. If curious I had just over 6mins when entering space which is more than enough time. Your goal is to get big and stay way, WAY far away from the blackhole. At 18mins+2mins bonus, you don't want to start over because you weren't careful. This is when your ability to make multiple planets will come into play, again, go slow and stay away from the black hole, don't even risk getting the planets that are in it's vortex. This area is so easy that not only did I have a ridiculous amount of time remaining, I picked up the black hole on accident at 1,230,936km with plenty of planets and stars to spare. So if you're having a hard time getting close to that size, reroll some other levels and earn more items for you to pick up in space. It's long but seems like the easiest level to get 100 points so long as you know the layout. Last edited by Seiryu : October 21st, 2007 at 02:45 PM. |

Chatéau Notre Desir
Target Category: Whatever the king wants Start Size: 5cm Goal Size: Level ends at 60m, but you can keep rolling as long as you want Time Limit: None No normal guide will work for this one. The only thing I can do is list what category each item falls into and instruct you to get the smallest to average sized things in their respective category. Basically do everything you were never supposed to do. Roll slow, painfully slow, collect small items and build your katamari up as small and by as little as possible. We are looking for memories here, the king will last a category and go on and on about it many times, even repeating himself. It's not worth it to skip it every time, just let it become white noise and focus on your task. Since you will be doing this for over an hour, if not longer, you have plenty of time to learn the layout on your own. So what I am going to do is make a list what each area has for a category and what those items are. When you see a big cluster of things (example: Lego blocks from the start, also poker chips) save those until they fit the king's requested category. We're going to be rolling in the Room, House, Yard, Town, and City. After that the king will tell you to stop and building further only allows for cousins and presents, but that's for a whole other time. Remember this most important tip, unless you absolutely have to, never roll up any buildings. You can get over 1,000 memories so long as you avoid buildings from 50m to 60m. Now let's get to work. ________ -=Room=- ________ Food: Sunflower Seed, Caramel, Fork, All cookies, Cheese, Strawberry, Lollipop, candy, Parsley, ham and melon, Luxury: Earring, Golden Lighter, Gold/Silver Coins, Fashion: Earring, Hairpin, Lip Balm, Martini drinks, 20cm sign, Rose, Grape Juice (wine bottle), Red Grape Juice (wine glass), Playthings: Poker Chips, Dice, Chess Pieces, Cute: Lego Blocks, Sound: Babby rattle, mouse, Party Crackers, Gadgets: Gold lighter, toy knife, gold watch, hourglass, Cold: Martini Drinks, Grape Juice (wine bottle), Warm: Teapot, lemon tea, _________ -=House=- (Note: Do not leave the house until you absolutely have to, you will be locked out.) _________ Gadgets: Hourglass, pocket watch, Warm: lemon tea, hotdog, hot sauce, Fashion: Martini Drinks, Food: ham and melon, french bread, pear, lollipop, ________ -=Yard=- ________ Food: Hotdog, Carrot, Spaghetti, Steak, Salad, soup, shortcake, bananas, egg sandwich, Apple, sunny-side up egg, toast, Corn, halloween pumpkin, Sound: Tennis racket, cats, keyboard harmonica, harmonica, Drink: Martini drinks, shaker, Creatures: Angelfish, Fun/Playthings: Dragonfly, Teddybear, Poolring, Crab, sunglasses, Pansies, chessboard, Luxury: Expensive bottle, Trophy, Perfume, brand name bag, french dool, rose, butterflys, magic lamp, Gadgets: Garden Light, Sword, walkie-talkie, headlamp, microphone, ________ -=Town=- (Note: Once you can roll over the fence, I consider the Yard part of the town, over 3m or so.) ________ Gadgets: Garden light, wall light, Danger: Brick, burglar, campfire, Cold: Grape Juice (wine bottle), Vase, Boots, Vanilla cone, Ice cream, frozen yogurt, Ocean: All fish, Octopus, Plants: Lotus, lotus leaf, barrel, wooden case, sunflower, cactus, garden plant, Fun/Playthings: All animal-people (Cow-man etc.), wooden horse, Garden plant, russian doll, mushrooms, birdcage, deerhead, deer, doberman, elegant chair, house plant, flower pots, Luxury: Milk can, Decorative vase, Treasure chest, Gentleman, ________ -=City=- ________ Danger: Big Cone, 3m sign, Gorilla, bigfoot, cannon, coffin, all vehicles, steel tower, swordfish, glider man, Energy: All vehicles, tiller, washing machine, TV camera, Pizza delivery bike, traffic signal, phone booth, hot air balloon, sailboat, all planes, Fun/Playthings: Monster truck, Glider man, all tents, sumo wrestler, basketball hoop, ball race, grand opening, swan boat, colorful round trees, ferris wheel gondola, Ocean: All boats, Breakwater block, Shark, all islands, all bouys, raft, rich haul flag, school of fish, gigantic squid, Japanese: Rich haul flag, sumo wrestler, red umbrella, (Almost everything in the japanese town), Power: Shark, breakwater block, rich haul flag, swan boat, driftwood, canoe, Hippopotamus, gigantic squid, huge falling rock, Gadgets: All vehicles, boats, Train carriage, homes, windmill, all hollywood signs, Plants: Mushrooms, trees, ________ Obviously I didn't list everything and you won't need everything either, common sense goes a long way. At 60m it's all over. I spent over 2 hours on this level on my first try to get 4234 memories, that's 120 points. I've been hearing you can get 100 points or so for around 3000, so all you need to do is go slow. It really is that easy, though it helps to get lucky and have the king suggest the right things. Make sure and end things when he tells you to at 60m, you get no extra points or anything for a big katamari to go along with those memories. |

I've had trouble on Roller Roaster. It says my Katamari is too small. I collected hot stuff as fast as I could and I thought I did a pretty good job. What did I do wrong? Do I need to make it bigger by going slower or just go more quickly??
EDIT: To mostly answer my own question, it seems that TIME is what's important here. I got a much faster time with a small katamari and I got 98 points. Sigh. Well at least I know I can get it. EDIT2: 2'23 got me the 100 points. 2'50 got me 98. So somewhere between those times is 100!
