Hey guys ive been having a problem with my wireless Microsoft 360 headset. it worked great for over a month now it is being retarded. if i turn it on without a wireless controller active it will jump straight onto port one. the instant i connect the controller the mic disconnects and will NOT switch to port one. It will go through 2-4 and back. it wont go to 1 unless there is no controller active on port 1. i have tried turning off the controller. if it is off it will go to port one. but the instant i turn the controller back on the mic disconnects and wont switch to anything other than 2-4. i have tried restarts and turning all the crap on and off over and over. WTF is wrong with this 60 dollar piece of CRAP!

Have you tried to change to port #2 manually?

Have you tried to turn on your controller first. then turn on the headset? Thats what I do and I never had an issue

i know this is an old thread. but the problem was solved. apparently my controller is damaged and the wireless mike was having difficulty connecting because it believed that there was a wired mic in the controler when there never was.
