Completing the following missions will give you the Heart of Gold achievement. Make sure you always 'hand-in' the quest, you usually get a collectible and should no longer have it showing in your Journal. Some of these are great for certain achievements (most notably Gunslinger), check page 3 for more info. Three of these quests also contain the Darkling outfits, so be sure to pick them up while you're there. Thanks to
Rogue` for the original guideline, it made this all much quicker.

Chapter 1
Canal Street (Before Dutch Oven Harry)
George Hadel - A harmonica player you'll find him on the stairs leading up to Chinatown, can't miss him. Says he was told he couldn't play in his favourite spot anymore by a thug named Compton Scarr. Walk down the stairs, he's the first guy to your right standing on a pillar trying to look tough. Talk to him and go back to George to finish the quest.
Fulton Street (After Dutch Oven Harry)
Ingrid Pulanski - She's lost her bracelet her husband gave to her. Hop down into the tracks and it's underneath the ledge on the side she's standing on, crouch down and you should see it glimmer. Pick it up and give it back.

Charlene Warburton - Crazy lady wants you to jump in front of a train to pick up quarters. Wait until she throws them and run around pressing A. Once you get all 4 talk to her again and the quest is done.
Chapter 2
Canal Street
George Hadel - Turns out Compton beat him up and took his harmonica. Head to Lower East Side. Him and his buddies are hanging out near the Clark and Waterfront intersection (by Pier 19). Just go straight once you exit the subway and follow the left side of the building. Kill 'em, pick up the harmonica, and head back to George. He likes you so much now he'll play his harmonica for you whenever you like.

Jimmy The Grape - He can be found right when you exit the train in Chapter 3, you must talk to him to continue the story. He stays around this area. Someone just couldn't keep their mouth shut. Go to Grinder's Lane. As you exit, turn left and keep walking. To the left of you is a building, the only one in Grinder's Lane (aside from the one connected to the meat place). If you have good observational skills, you'll notice all rooms are numbered 261. Go in and to the back of the building (there will be 2 guards outside of the room). Pajama's is in the first door on your left. Go in, waste everybody, pick up the protection list and return to Vinny to complete the quest. While you're here, make sure you pick up the Fireman outfit.

Dana Cutrone - She's found to the right side of the stairs leading to Chinatown, by the tracks on a bench. Her scumbag of a boyfriend has changed the locks on her one room apartment. Head to Chinatown, Mulberry Alley. Head towards where Jenny lives (straight down the alley in front of you), but instead of going left at the end of the alley, go into the door on the right. Turn left and you'll be looking at her room on the end of the hall. Knock on the door and get the keys. Deliver them back to Dana. While you're here, make sure you pick up the Lumberjack outfit.

Terence Willis - He's found on the side of the station with the exit to the Cemetery/Lower East Side, on the right hand side near the bench. He wants to you kill a gang of people he doesn't seem to like very much. Head to the Whitefish Pool Hall in the Lower East Side. They'll all be standing behind a shipping container. Kill them, and go back to Terence to finish the quest. This is a good spot to get the Bringing People Together achievement. (The girl walking should eventually group with the rest of them or get close enough to get it).

Lucas Hellinger - Lucas is just around the corner from Terence. Talk to Terence after you finish his quest and he'll tell you how to win at the cups game. Play the cups game once and lose. Next time you play you'll have the option to Distract him. Now accept his game and pick the middle one with the mark. Quest finished.
Fulton St.
Mitch Deval - He can be found outside the entrance to the City Hall gate, you walk right past him to go through. You can talk to him before or after you get the briefcase. If you talk to him after, the sidequest will automatically finish. His brother he refers to is the one who has all the traps, his heart gives you Black Hole.

Vinny Mortarello - He can be found in the subway around the stairs to St. Mary's Orphanage. Seems that Paulie has been contracting some West Coast thugs to do the family business. Your job is to whack them all, and teach Paulie a lesson. This is a long chain involving a bunch of hits, they go as follows:
1. Guy stalking your Aunt Sarah. Go kill him. You'll find him outside your Aunt Sarah's house on Raspberry St. The street can be found right when you exit the subway to Lower East Side. After you kill the stalker and go back to the subway, a car with a few thugs will pull up. You don't have to kill them, but if you don't want a surprise later, you probably should. Return to Vinny to finish the quest.

2. Group of police located at Grinder's Lane. They're all standing just in front of the gate. Kill them and go back to Vinny to finish the quest. This quest is involved with two easy methods to get the Gunslinger achievement. See page 3 more info.

3. Group of gang bangers on Raspberry St., same place you found the first hit. They'll be standing near a car listening to crappy music located in a parking lot behind the subway stairs. Kill them, return to Vinny.

4. Drug dealer for kids. He's in the alley intersection where you find the Potato Sack outfit (your first firefight in the city). Go out the Chinatown exit and take your first left into the alley. Kill him, return to Vinny.

5. Some guy keeping an eye on Shrote at Gun Hill. To get to Gun Hill, go through the door on the other side of the left set of train tracks near the exit to St. Mary's Orphanage in Fulton St. Once you exit into an alley, go left and follow it around until you see a garage-door-ish opening (entrance to Shrotes apartment building). Face the opening and look up to your right. The first window is open; your mark is in there. Creeping Dark up in there and kill him, return to Vinny. While you're here, make sure you pick up the Construction outfit.
Chapter 4
Charlie Hazelgrove - You'll meet him as you exit the village on your way to the tank ride (trenches). You can't miss him, as you walk right past him. Talk to him to get the locket. Once you're in Chapter 5, deliver the locket to Rosie Hazelgrove. She can be found in Fulton St. near Vinny Mortarello.
Chapter 5
Fulton Street
'Little Petey' Terrone - He wants you to deliver a simple message to someone named Mickey Famiano for him. What, no killing!? Yep, it's true. The guy you deliver the message to can be found in Canal St. to the right of the Chinatown exit, standing in front of a vending machine. He's got a red hat. You don't have to return to Petey to finish the mission.
Canal Street
Alfred Blackmoore - He's located near the exit to Chinatown (near the actual exit, not the stairs). Old, slightly fat guy with a white sweater with the number 10 on it. He's having a problem with a tenant, who just happens to be Dana from the other sidequest. Go to her apartment and give her what-for. Take her keys and return to Alfred to complete the quest.

Enzo Scardina - Up the stairs on the way to Trinity Cemetery exit, he'll yell at you as you walk past. He'll give you a briefcase to pull a switch with a drug dealer at Fulton St. You can find the dealer near Vinny looking at an information kiosk. Switch the suitcases and return to Enzo to finish the quest.
Trinity Cemetery
Frank Rottenberg - This is the guy you should have not killed in Chapter 1. He'll be standing outside of the cemetery complaining about needing his drugs. He does have a valid case though; he needs insulin, not crack. Use Creeping Dark and head down to where you first found him, the Insulin is the white bottle on the table. Take it and talk to him again. He'll give you a shiny trinket that serves absolutely no use whatsoever... worthless bums.
